You know, there's a reason communes get alchemy and cities get enchantments, making communes less and less dependant on enchantments will do nothing but increase imbalance between the two.

There is also an imbalance in that, for many things, cities don't need enchants. They get the skills instead of the enchants. There is nothing in the communes to keep us from needing all of Alchemy.

Uhh, what kind of rubbish is that? Do you even listen to yourself?

* Warriors need all the enchantments both guardians and mages offer.

* Mages need all the enchantments guardians offer.

* Guardians need all the enchantments mages offer.

* Everyone needs beauty, mercy, perfection and kingdom.

Come again?

Guardians do not need Guardian enchants.
Mages do not need Mage enchants.
Alchemists need every piece of alchemy, save ink, absinthe, salt, and sulfur.

Guardians have unlimited waterwalk. Mages have unlimited cleanse. Alchemists do not have anything Alchemy gives. I'd love to have limitless quicksilver, or frost, or fire.

oooo limitless quicksilver dribble.gif

You seem to be forgetting, conveniently, that alchemy is 3x more important to survive than enchantments.

Bashing without kingdom and mercy is easy, bashing without health vials isn't, for example.

I would say that cleanse is on par with alchemy, unless you really like remaining sapped. Hell Murphy will heartstop instead of finding some way to get away and scrub if he gets sapped and has no enchantment.

Yeah, as an enchanter, I went a long time without using any of my own enchantments. Its not that bad, especially as I can afford to clot a lot tongue.gif Refills... definately needed...
