We're quick to throw up complaints, but not as vocal with our gratitude and appreciation, so I thought I would at least attempt to do so for myself.

Thankyou to all the administration who worked on the changes to Influence, Faelings finally received the wonderful upgrade we have always dreamed of. Finally they have a tremendous advantage to balance their tremendous disadvantage in staying alive during combat.

Sure, it applied equally if not moreso to the specialized forms as well, but who cares. Unspecialized faelings have their bonus, and I am really, really grateful for that. You guys rock! happy.gif

Thankyou once again for continuing to improve on the Lusternian experience for all.

Oh, and if you ever decide to ask for mortal coders, I know you would have a legion of fans ready to support your efforts in these small updates and modifications.

I know I'd love to! ... once I learned how to code, that is. quickexit.gif

Applications for mortal coders are always semi-open. Just send an e-mail with your specs and qualifications to roark@lusternia.com

When you say 'qualifications', you mean things like really enjoys playing Lusternia, has a knack for discovering unusual bugs, and desperately wants to fiddle with the irrelevent aspects of the world. Right?

No, with those qualifications you are extremely suited for a certain job.

You can send qualifications for -that- job to Tully@lusternia.com

Nuts!

Not that your job isn't as noble as any others, brave little Tully. *cough*

Sounds more like my department. laugh.gif I like playing Lusternia, make them recode things because I've tried pushing the game mechanics the wrong way, and am a general pest.

I'd be a perfect coder!

What about applications for mortal builders?
Shiri2005-09-22 03:01:41
You have to wait for them to be announced in an announce post. Same as guides.
Faethan2005-09-22 03:13:23
I'm going to have to throw up a combined "Woot," and "Took ya long enough."

I told ya, throw stuff at your envoy 'til stuff gets done.

Apparently:

Multiple bug reports + multiple forum topics << Envoy report

On the other hand, in Achaea,

single forum post >> mutliple classlead reports.

Gotcha.

Applications for those will be announced, at this point in time we are too busy on other projects to provide enough work for the mortal builders we have right now, so I am afraid offer exceeds demand at this point. I sincerely hope this will change as some of our current projects get finished though.

Applying to be a coder means we have to give up our character? Or are we allowed to mess with code and still enjoy the wonderful realm of Lusternia? There should be a help file or web page on requirements to apply and what happens if you're accepted. I find the builder help files interesting, but I'm more of a programmer than an author.
