I'm still very skeptical of the whole "I'm a furrikin with a stick that's absurdly important so the tainted people are going to kill me if I claim even though I don't know what the heck it does!" thing. But if Laneth is also holding a taco (totally arbitrary collectable object), maybe Shiri's telling the truth.

Gah, they both look tainted to me, especially given the whole bandwagon starting/jumping thing. They started the first bandwagon, picking someone at random to kill. Now they're trying to divert attention to Narsrim by starting ANOTHER random bandwagon, just when people started getting suspicious of Laneth. I'd vote for both of them if I could right now, but since I can't, I'll keep my vote where it is, and change it to Laneth if votes against him start gaining support.

And, if there's a 'silver torc' in the game, wouldn't Lolly Pringle start with it? You know, the person who died during the night?

Lolly wasn't a Seren, as far as I know? The Silver Torc (of the Moon) is given to Serens, I suppose.

Farella gave the torc to Lolly Pringle, so he could return to her with it. Hmm... actually, I don't know when this game is taking place ^^; I had assumed it was during the end bit of the taint wars, not the start, but I never actually read the beginning bit. You could be Farella, I guess, if you aren't lying taintscum.

I imagine if I was Farella I would know what to do with the torc. All I have at the moment is a few hunches on who to give it to, but I'm thinking if I give it to the one of the Taintscum it will come back to bite us in the Arse. So I dunno what to do.

I don't see why. All wiccans and druids have silver torcs. It's not like they're unique.
As for me and Laneth teaming, the first time it was a pure coincidence. (He started the first bandwagon.) After I had to claim, his having a taco (I love that term, thanks ) does make me think he's got the right of it. I guess this is weird to you, but anyone who simply DOESN'T BELIEVE I have the stick (I'm well aware that I do) just looks like they're tainted and trying to get me lynched, since after all, it does make sense.

As for the stick, I can only guess it gives someone a priv like killing, scrying, guarding...or something. That's why it's a one-off. For me it's not a lot of good, but if I give it to someone who has scrying, and it turns out to be a stick that lets you guard people or something, it could be nasty. Or...I really don't know. Point is, that's just how the dice fell! I can take being lynched as I'm not that important, but it's better not to, since I'm an Elder, and I've told you my role and even explained why I think it's there. That's better than most others can say, isn't it? Yeah, I confused myself now. I can especially see why it'd look like Laneth and I are tainted. Well, I'm not, and he probably isn't. If you do kill me, you'll find that out, so work off that. I'm just making sure that you know my thoughts in case I get lynched.

From what I understood, and Merloch's mini history lessons, Farella's was very special, so I had assumed Laneth meant hers.



What's all this 'anyone who thinks I'm tainted must be tainted!' stuff? Eight people voted for you before, are you saying they all must be tainted because they're voting against you and the rest are all innocent because they believe what you say? You seem to have this 'if I'm lynched, lynch everyone who voted for me!' mentality - NINE people need to vote for you. I don't think there are NINE tainted people in the game, that'd be kinda an instant win for them I think that your 'stick' is absurdly silly, and the idea that Laneth also has such an object, and you both just happened to be the first two people to try to steamroll over someone is just silly. If it was just you, I would have unvoted, because you always screamed 'soulless' when you were an Elder. At least, you did last game. But combined with what Laneth's been saying, the only thing that makes sense is that you are both tainted, that you concocted this story at night to explain the silly coverstory you came up with and make it seem true.

No, not "must." Just a possibility. You're drawing a silly conclusion from a very reasonable assumption - the most suspicious of those voting for an innocent person are likely to be tainted, and that's the first place you should look. People who DON'T vote for said innocent when you have a chance of killing them aren't that likely to be Tainted. It's a lakewood limb, if you're going to pick on my calling it a stick, so you can shush about that.

And that's not the point. I CAN SEE WHY you would think that - but it doesn't make it true! It's a weird coincidence. You don't HAVE to believe it, but if you do kill me, you'll see.

I'm saying it's understandable voting for me, so it's not like -everyone- that votes for me is going to be a bad guy, confirming an earlier part of my post. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't examine people who do more closely if I DO die. It's a bad move! Like I say, one less Shiri is one less good guy.
