I'm giving Marcalo approximately 8 hours to post or he will be replaced by Tsuki.

I'm not exactly sure how this shifted back into "let's kill Narsrim" again, but meh. I seriously had some IE problems and people freaked out as if I was lying and trying to be creative and cover it all up (and believe me, I wouldn't use any microsoft product to accomplish such a feat). In any case, I have nothing to say anymore than Shiri or Bau to defend myself.

I just think its funny that people have this assumption I'm shady when I've just been letting everyone run their mouths trying to manipulate everyone else to anyone they possibly can but themselves. That says more to me than anything else.

Branwyn, for example, will probably end up voting and unvoting about 450,000 times before the game is over because everytime someone posts, she feels the need to change. Heh.

Shiri thinks he can stay innocent by deluding our memory with a flood of irrelevant posts. How very Aquamancer of you.

So please, vote for me if you think I'm something to be concerned over... that's what I'm doing with Bau. She just seems to me like she's so on top of things. I hate that cause I sure am not.

Alright, I'm going to say exactly what I see right now, and why I'm voting the way I am... If it doesn't make sense, you people can tell me why it doesn't make sense and I'll rethink it...

Right now, the most suspect person to me seems to be Narsrim because A. I saw him watching the thread a few times for the past few days without a single post from him. B. The person he immediately voted for was Bau, AFTER she claimed she was Marylinth, and was a protector, something that makes perfect sense, and is likely to be disputed by another person if she is lieing. Therefore, it seems more like he's just trying to lynch someone who is a threat to the tainted side.

I chose to not vote for Shiri because I don't think a tainted person would be foolish enough to use such a simple role as a claim, and because he has cooroberation (sp?) via Laneth... Making it very dangerous for them both if they're tainted because if one of them gets scryed and is tainted, then they're both instantly assumed to be tainted... Which is why I'm going to wait for one of them to be scryed.

I completely believe Bau's story, though if Marcalo or whoever he's playing claims to be Marylinth then I'll have a bit of an issue with her, and I will be tempted to vote her lynched the next day.

Shorlen seems suss to me, mainly because of his adamant desire to vote for Shiri even though he's claimed and has coroberation. I'm not very sure about Shorlen, so it'd be nice if he got scryed as well... Putting that whole matter to rest.

Laneth/Quidgy is in the same boat as Shiri, if one of em comes up tainted, I'll be considering them both tainted.

Munsia seems odd for staying as quiet as she is... She's always struck me as the talkative type... And for her wanting to vote off Shiri and protect Narsrim. That said, its only a small feeling, and I have absolutely nothing else to go on beyond that.

In a game where the point is to out wit your opponents, I'm not exactly one to believe everything that is said. I think there is more to Bau. Call it a gut feeling or just outright paranoia, but I've seen people pull stunts before where they claim to be someone who they are not... and it is a great way to deflect attention. I could be wrong, but at this point it is fairly up-in-the-air regardless of which way you swing.

Marylinth would be an utterly idiotic claim for a tainted person! She's one of the more known and more important characters! Which means there would be a REAL marylinth dispute more often than not!

That was supposed to read "There would be a REAL marylinth To dispute more often than not!" The other way just doesn't look right.

Another way Shiri and Laneth could prove themselves innocent would be to give someone their stick or torc and see what happens, that way whoever they gave it to would be able to further vouch for them.

Given the huge amount of roles, I can think of several situations where it would be prudent to make such a claim. For example, you assume that the real Marylinth (assuming Bau is fake) would be willing to shout out. First, there would be no way to feasibly tell who was lying and who was telling the truth. Second, if the person who was lying was lynched, the people who have the ability to kill automatically have a bullseye target for the next round.

If anything, Bau was getting votes wracked up against her and then comes out with this supposed role. It ensures she is protected or if someone else claims the same role, she's at least got a 50/50 shot compared to the potential nothing before.

Maybe I'm being too hypothetical, but I think it would have been a brilliant move regardless if you were or were not.

That said, I always distrust you sparky *grin* You've a glib excuse for why you don't post..hell you've been lurking here for awhile but can't post? That's what strikes us all as odd.

In the end, I think you have built up the image of someone wanting to basically scream out for people to look in X-direction in a foolish attempt to mask yourself. It isn't that uncommon of a strategy, but I just think its weak this early in the game

I'll think about it. I absolutely hate that route as there is a great deal of power for everyone in any role to remain as incognito as possible.

Maybe Bau's too new to this to realise ALL the repercussions of claiming her role.

Or maybe she's telling the truth cause it'll take some attention off everyone else and stop another of Marilynth's people being killed by Taintscum!

Or maybe I'm a good liar ( ).

Meh, Laneth and Shiri still seem very much tainted to me, but Narsrim looks just as bad if not worse after that series of posts. I'd still like to give him a chance to claim though, so unvote Shiri FoS: Narsrim.
