Since it seems best to mention such things when playing such a game, I'm going to be away for about a day, moving back home from my long vacation.

It's unfortunate that Shorlen is not going to be here when I post this, I would like for him to defend himself, but I am almost 100% certain he is Tainted. I will explain why.

Shorlen is all to quick to stir up trouble and vote against seemily innocuous people (Shiri, Myself? I wil agree Wesmin is doing nothing to help his own case), always bringing certain people along for the bandwagon (I will discuss those in a later post).

Also, these items he seems so centrally focussed on. I believe all Townies have one of these items and is free to give it to who they wish in the night. I believe the item will perhaps have a one off power, perhaps giving the right person an extra ability that night or granting them immunity from Lynching for a day or something like that.

Now, if all Townies have these items (I think we have had enough people accept their existance to agree that all probably do have them), then we must agree that Shorlen is not a townie.

The fact that he keeps ranting against people I am convinced are innocent leads me to believe he is Tainted, or just plain sucks at his special role anyway.

It also seems, though he has not mentioned it outright, that he wants one of us to give him one fo these items. I would strongly advise against it unless you can confirm he is on the Townie team.

I will also mention, Munsia has basically been forgotten about in the vote counts by staying fairly quiet. She is still suss to me, but Shorlen has seemed suss since his first few posts (I mentioned this way back in the first 6 pages or so too).

So... Was Wesmins last post his attempt at a claim? Or is he still due for one? I'm patient but I've been waiting all day for it...

I don't think we should lynch Shorlen this day... Seeing as he's one of the few we know for a fact has an item, and it would be nice to know what the items do... According to him, Ibby told him he'd know what it does this comming night. If we want to lynch him, we should wait till the next day. Also, as for all the townies having an item, we don't know that, Bau hasn't mentioned having an item, neither did Cwin... It could be that about half have items, and the other half that have other night roles don't have items. That would make sense... Though we don't know what Shorlens night role is if he has one...

as for defending shorlen? hmm, is he the Emperor, and now he has an item? scary thought, we might want to lynch him before he uses the item to kill the townies, no where has he defended himself at all. Day one he said he'd only vote for narsrim last, perfect scum action, and why? because "Shiri is so much more tainted!" which he isn't. Shorlen=driping with taint, and I'm sick up prancing around the issue, I don't care if it gets me lynched, lynch shorlen the next day then unless you've got 100% proof he isn't.
