STONING!

“Wesmin was scummy yesterday.”
“Yeah, he couldn’t back anything up.”
“I’m NOT scummy! I have this globe, see.”
“Yeah right, NOW you claim to have an item.”
“I was roleblocked! I tried to give it away!”
“Riiight, you’re just saying that.”
“No, seriously, I found it on my nightstand when I woke up!”
“You’re too damn confusing, even if you aren’t tainted.”
“Yeah, really, let’s just get this over with.”



You drag Wesmin off to the side of the road and line up facing him. Each of you bend down and pick up the largest stone you can find. Some grab a few smaller stones for good measure and pocket them. You look at each other, then at Wesmin as the countdown begins. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. The stones fly, pelting Wesmin. As the stones hit him, Wesmin reaches into his pocket for something. Just as he pulls it out, a large rock smashes into his skull, killing him instantly. A globe filled with white light falls from his hand, and rolls away.

Wesmin, Citizen of Celest, Untainted has been stoned to death.

With little to do for the night, the citizen of Gaudiguch climbed into his bed to get a good night's rest. For sure tomorrow there would be more to go on. He drifted off to sleep, his mind still whirling with different scenarios and possible plots of the Tainted.

Unfortunately, he would never wake to discuss his thoughts further. During the night, a whisper in the darkness woke him. Groggily he tried to climb out of bed, and the voice grew louder. A chanted evocation was the last thing he heard.

Eyod, Citizen of Gaudiguch, Untainted has died to unknown magicks.

Hmm, guess he was telling the truth about the spare wotsits too. FoS: Munsia still. Don't buy that first day stuff. Either she was just being thick, or she's Tainted.

Well I made a poor decision and I suppose imma pay for it this round eh?

Unless anyone can come up with a better target. I'm still not convinced Shorlen's Tainted.

Umm, 'scuse me, but didn't Tsuki clame to have scried Wesmin as Tainted? Now he's dead. I think you're going for the wrong target to start with Shiri.

I think that was just a horrible way of putting "I'm suspicious of Wesmin, having heard those posts."

Alternately Tsuki could be using her cleverly coded unintelligible speech to mask the fact that she's realllllly suspicious.

Meh, I'm still voting Tsuki anyway. Even if she isn't Tainted, killing her will mean I don't have to reread her posts 24 times .

Hrm. Been going back through the posts, and came to the conclusion that Shorlen's more than slightly suspicious (at least in my eyes).

Note: I'm also suspicious of Shadow/Navaryn for being quieeet.

My reasons for suspecting Shorlen are mainly the little things that make me think "Something's not quite right here..."

He pushed for Shiri to claim, he pushed for the stoning of Wesmin - instigated, even, might be a good term. Also didn't vote for Narsrim even when we reached the point he was pretty much a given tainted on the first day.

So... VOTE: SHORLEN!

Also somewhat suspicious of Tsuki. I think the accent's a front.

Everyone pushed me to claim. I'm not surprised. And the fact he just caved when I gave him the stick (plus his analysis of the situation was pretty clean) would be dodgy if he were Soulless. Plus Wesmin DID look freaky.

Really advise not voting Shorlen. Go with Tsuki or Munsia.
