You all gather around Branwyn while she's daydreaming.
"I think it's her."
"Yeah could be."
"Let's just drown her."
"Ok."
Without being able to speak a final word, Branwyn is drug over to the lake, heavy stones tied to her ankles and she's thrown in. Bubbles rise from the water at first, then... nothing. You all stand around awhile and wait for her body to rise to the surface. Once it does, you pull her out of the lake and one of you kneels down, brushing the hair out of her face. A gasp.... "Oh dear..." "No..."
Branwyn, High Priestess Rowena Nightshade, Roleblocker, has been drowned. (Untainted).

Stretching, Laneth prepared himself for sleep. It was a long day, especially around these people. They tired him. He knew some were of the Wilde, some were of the Ackleberry - but they'd killed Rowena. This had an ill feeling about it, for sure. He wondered what Farella would have thought - but they killed her, too.
Reaching up, the elfen pulled himself into the trees. He yawned as Mother Moon looked down on him, and Mother Night shadowed the land. He doubted Mother Night and Mother Moon were happy with the on-goings, so far. But they had gotten a few of the Taintlings.
Suddenly, he was awoken by the soft sounds of clicking. Strange, he knew - was a buck rubbing the velvet off his antlers? No, it was not the season for that. Easing himself out of the trees, he looked around. Suddenly, the trees burst apart. He let loose a terrible shriek, as a hideous beast clawed towards him. It was no longer what it once was - a strange, massive creature was there, shoving undergrowth and brush out of it's path. Massive onyx horns twisted from it's head, shatter-marks rippling out from various points. It's skin was a gross red, in some places black - hair was, for the most part, absent, except in patches, and where the skin was unbroken, it was a sickly pale, or the color of bloated corpses. Various, rotten wounds gaped open, filling the air with the stench of decay. This creature, perhaps once a Taurian or Igasho, was not alive.
Laneth raised his golden sickle before him, but to no avail. The creature charge forward, one horn shattering the sickle, long thick claws lashing out, shredding the Wildeling's skin and clothes. Gasping in pain, the wildling reached into the trees, pulling him skyward. The wounds burned, and his flesh went numb. They were poisonous. He watched the beast claw and tackle the massive and ancient oak, praying to Mother Moon for deliverance. Suddenly, he saw something. A glint in the creatures eyes.
Again he gasped. "...Laysus!" The creature guffawed, and grinned. "Aye - and you'll be my next meal, little creature. Come, come! I'll feast upon you yet!" Trying to move but unable, Laneth could only watch as large chunks were clawed and removed from the trunk. Soon, the tree itself would tip. Suddenly, he heard something else. A burst of flame lit up the Night. Again, that sound - it was chanting - and a burst of fire. The creature screamed in pain, glaring at this new figure. It was dressed in voluminous crimson robes, the sleeves and hemming etched with golden runes. "NO! This is MY meal for this night!" Again the chanting, and this time, a strange creature appeared by it's side, heralding only by a strange rift torn through the very fabric of creation, dumping some odd, hound-like beast beside it's master. It pointed, then suddenly the hound was on the beast. Laysus screeched loudly, the beast tearing at it's limbs and tendons.
Laneth began coughing suddenly, as inky black fluid began oozing from his nose and pores. He stared, dumbfounded, as Laysus' throat was torn out by the beast. With a brief chant, the beast exploded in flame, nothing remained - and Laysus, what little life he clung to, was lit aflame, the air smelt like burnt flesh and corpses.
The world around him began to reel, and Laneth fell from the trees. The figure looked at him before turning away, and soft foot steps signaled it's departure. The last thoughts that crossed his mind, before dieing, was that he had been right - Laysus was tainted. And dead.
Laneth, citizen of Serenwilde, has been poisoned and killed by the Taint. (Untainted)
Laysus, citizen of Magnagora, Tainted Serial Killer, has had his throat torn out. (Tainted)
With 8 alive, it's 5 to lynch.

Bring it on, I can...oh wait I'm dead.
Go team go!
(Thanks for the fab deathscene, by the way, Ibby!).
EDIT (I can do that, since I'm dead!): Thanks to YoLF for the awesome deathscene!

Bah. Sure, tainted people, kill off the guy I was going to vote for and make me actually have to think about this
Actually, on second thought, it's bad the SK died. It was in his best interest to help us at this point, since there are proportionally many Tainted left. If we're right about the five as previously posted, there are three left. Etanru and Tsuki kinda seem a little scummy to me, and others thought Munsia was scummy, but I'm not so sure about that.

tsaephai2005-10-11 13:02:22
welp, as i said before, one bad and one good move doesn't harm us much...
so what's that leave us with?
munsia,
tsaephai,
shorlen,
bau,
nejii,
suhnaye,
etanru,
and tsuki?
hmm, noone really looks suspicious now. bau is completely non-tainted, as by now, shurely someone would have come forth if bau wasn't the prinscess.
munsia gave an item to bau, and bau confirmed it, so i don't think munsia is tainted. well, giving an item allone doesn't confirm that munsia is non-tainted, but the nature of the item(the crown of gloriana, which i think it would have been the crown of glomdoring if it was tainted) makes it seem to me like munsia isn't tainted.
nejii was kindof sided with laneth earlier in the game, and since laneth wasn't tainted, nejii probably isn't. although, is a stick something that a tainted person couldn't have? he kindof proved himself earlier, though, i believe him.
shorlen did put up some odd posts, but so did wesmin and navaryn, and they were found not to be tainted, so i'm not quite shure, not enough information.
tsuki everyone seems to think is tainted, but i don't think so, i think they're a normal merian like they said. theydo have a heavy accent, of course, as someone suggested, it could just be there because they're trying to lead us off the track.
for etanru and suhnaye, i don't think there's enough information. suhnaye isn't particularly lurky or anything, though. etanru has been, so for the moment
FoS: ETANRU
otherwise, lack of evidence.

Dunno... She is probably a 'Citizen of Gloriana' - the citizen of Magnagora was an SK, if there's a Traitor in the game, I'd think it would be a Glorianian. Glorian. Glory. Something. What the heck do you call someone from Gloriana?

nejii's dead?
well, if we end, how do we determin who wins? i'm assuming there's more of us than tainted people, so we'd win automatically, but if there was less of us than tainted people, would the tainted people win right then?
Unknown2005-10-11 17:47:26
Nejii is gone and won't be able to keep playing. He is not dead. Here are the options.
Option 1: Continue without Nejii: 8 alive, 5 to lynch. (he won't have a vote or be able to talk)
Option 2: Continue without Nejii: 7 alive, 4 to lynch. (he's essentially modkilled)
Option 3: End the game. In which the winner is determined by who is closest to winning at this point based on probability.
Before we continue, please vote for one of these options, as such.

i think nejii isn't tainted, so by lowing it by one person we would have one less non-tainted person and the other people would have an advantage. so i say keep him for one round and then next round kill him.

It doesn't seem right, but ending the game here would probably be the best way to go... One BIG reason is that Shiri is a key person as far as personalities go in this game, trading him out for someone else, or modkilling him would introduce a completely foriegn element, and this late in the game that would confuse, distort, and otherwise alter the way the game is played... I think the tainteds are probably winning, and that doesn't sit well with me, but with Shiri gone they'd just have an even bigger edge, and with him just dormant, he'd be useless, unless the tainteds feel like being nice and killing him off this next night, which would be utterly idiotic for them... He's basically a negated vote, and completely in their favour.
Vote Option 3 End the game, let us know how we did, Ibby and YoLF can probably tell us who was more likely to win. Personally, I'm looking forward to the next game already.

Shiri would probably wantcha to.
