Video game tester, game music composer, marketing director for a... game company.
I like video games, by the way.

Move to California, but.. aside from the first you'll probably want to take some Japanese courses.
As for me.. see above quote and substitute in "designer." (Which I'm actually trying to do)
My dream career would be.. some sort of engineer. I'd like to help create an unlimited energy source from common elements (I'm interested in contained wind more than heat).

It'd either be doing voice overs for commericals and animated movies and the like or...
The CEO of the first company to create a powerful enough signal to deliver broadband wi-fi to the entire United States from one location, cure cancer/AIDS, solve world hunger/war, and use actual clouds for advertisements- building them into pictures and such. How cool would that be... want to advertise your company? Let us build you a cloud!

Don't you think you could use that tech for something more worthwhile.. like rain on demand for areas in drought?
I'd want to work on/make movies. Acting, writing, directing, producing. Also want to be an Author.
The only problem is that I can't see myself doing anything else. Maybe working on games, but I have no idea how to code. This is part of the troubles I've been having lately, because it seems totally impossible that I'll be able to get into those fields.

Ever since I was little my parents were always telling me to become a heart or brain surgeon. I use to practice on fish and frogs that I caught but then after watching some documentaries on them I realized it was not the same as the fishes and made me nauseous. So now I'm hoping to do something in the pharmaceutical field.

If the coders don't get paid, how do they pay their rent if they're up all night slaving over big projects like Libraries?
Does IRE let them all live in little cubicles and send a trolley with food and two trolleys of coffee down three times a day?

I'd go for Architect/Contractor
Design a building then build it myself.
sounds like fun

My dream is to become either CFO of a video game company or at the VERY LEAST, in the near future, have any kind of finance job in the video game industry. I just haven't a clue how to get started.... Any advice? I'll be moving to California in about 2 years and I hope that by then I'll have enough work experience to make my dream a reality -- Or I'll go to Berkeley or Stanford (HAH! If I get in...) and get my MBA in Accounting and possibly my CPA. I mean... Who DOESN'T need accountants?

Finance? Hmm.. moving to California would be a great start, but I'd probably check in on various game company websites and e-mail their support or corperate sections for more details. As long as you have some prior work experience I think it should be fine! And hopefully they won't bug you about Japanese language skills, but they shouldn't (Well, maybe they might once you reach the top of the ladder unless you work at a mostly U.S. based company).
Ooh.. and wherever you work I can ask for a referral! When I'm finally done with these degrees.

Buy more credits, and this could become reality. The short answer is, save for three, none of us up here get paid, it's volunteer work.

Of course we do. Why, just last weekend we were all over at Fain's enjoying his lovely tea party, and giving Raezon compliments on his new pink tafetta. Sadly, Lisaera ruined it all by irishing up the coffee that was made for Hajamin's I.V. After that, we couldn't get Estarra to stop snorting and giggling for days...

They are kinda spread over different timezones, from what I understand.
Don't worry Lusternian admins, I will have more money to waste soon! (I think my last purchase was about...$300 Australian? So that means I am up to about $400 or something. I have no idea why I buy credits, I'm not a fighter. Meh. I like paying people for a job well done!)
Erm, yes, back on topic?

I think we already had a thread like this. And instead of dream careers, it was "dream job" and I believe mine was "lottery winner." That hasn't changed.
On a slightly more realistic note, I'd like to be a 2D Animator. Sadly there isn't a huge market for that nowadays, considering that 3D animation is slowly taking over everything.

I either want to fly Apaches or drive for the Subaru or Mitsubishi Rally Team.
