I recently started looking into the various aspects of this game, and I'm hoping to start playing in a fairly short amount of time. However there's one thing I'm not quite clear about. I intend to RP a good deal and as such it's good to have a great amount of detail on how your character looks/behaves etc. One of the ideas I was considering would lead to having an undead character, as I believe is possible. However if this char's race was Lucidian, what exactly would they look like as undead? A more fleshy based race would be easy to visiualize, but a crystaline line form is a bit harder.

Interesting thoughts... Perhaps he'd be cracked and chipped. Perhaps his crystals would be very cloudy (low-grade quality rather than shiny and sparkly like a high grade diamond). He might have moss growing on him, sort of the mineral version of bacteria eating away at flesh.

I'd go with the cracked chipped thing and the majority of lucidians are colourful but slightly or heavily transparent, so maybe make him opaque like grantie or concrete.

My character is a human wth racial ancestry in Lucidian and Viscanti. The way I took it was a human with cracked, rock-like flesh. So a bit of what they both said. Just be creative and find something you like. There's a lot of room for personal customisation in racial appearance.

Maybe have him maintain his crystal-like structure, but have him be made of yellowed bone.

I love the idea.

Not as many people play Lucidians as the other races and I don't think I've ever seen a Lucidian lich.

A long time ago I was considering an undead lucidian, I thought it would be really cool... Play up the cold killer RP!!

Well, that just about seals it I'll be playing an undead lucidian whether I'll be a Nihlist or ur'Guard I've yet to decide.

For an undead Lucidian, I would suggest powder :sagenod: like, on his joints, have them be chalky and powdery, as if the crystal there is decaying. Also, possibly rock, sort of like a geode, possibly on one shoulder like a piece of armor, on a thigh, forearm, back of his head. With the cracks. Also have the crystals be milky as suggested.. oh.. and to add, I really like Roark's idea of a crystalline moss, maybe black with forest green running through.. sort of like its eating the crystal off your char's body and converting it into its own crystalline mass.

That would be a badass looking guy.

And no, I havn't seen an Undead Lucidian, but I have seen Viscanti who have Lucidian heritage, and i've seen them do some nifty things with it.

Oh, that reminds me, use odd proportions to your advantage. And texture. Rough...
