I find it extremely unlikely that we're going to see another Kethuru event this soon.

This is probobly just an excuse for Lacostian to go poof for a few months, a la Viravain's meditation or whatever.
Shamarah2005-10-01 15:27:35
That seems most likely...

But here's another completely random idea: Lacostian splinters himself and creates a new race. deal.gif

4.14.20 The Lacosciati

Okay, so the other other day, the Elder God Lacostian was like, "mmmm k i think ill save the isune cuz I wub her", but it turns out He failed and was this close to getting pwned by Kethuru: (That's very close). So Lacostian splintered Himself and created a bitchin' race of Lacosciati. They are wispy, hairless humanoids whose skin colour ranges from stark white to silver. They are teh r0xX0r at many a magical skill.

Statistics:
Strength : 7 Dexterity : 8 Constitution: 4
Intelligence: 24 Charisma : 12 Size : 10

ADVANTAGES:
o Resistance to psychic damage, level 3.
o Resistance to magic damage, level 3.
o Regain equilibrium faster, level 3.
o Gain experience faster, level 1.
o Regain psionic balance faster, level 2.
Kaervas2005-10-01 15:38:58
I'd totally go that race.
Soll2005-10-01 15:44:57
Hell yar.
Shamarah2005-10-01 15:47:28
R0x0r! Give 'em a bit more charisma and I'd so go that.
Unknown2005-10-01 15:52:46
Anything with quicker psionic recovery is great... dribble.gif

Only they're about as sturdy as a wet piece of tissue paper. 4 con? Better start firing off those staffcasts before they get within a half-mile of you.

At level 70, someone of that race would have 1,420 health.

That's provided they could even bash that high with practically zero health.
Ixchilgal2005-10-01 17:04:32
And suddenly, all the spellcasters in the world are this new race....

So what if you've only got like 1500 health at level 80? People just kinda splatter when you smite them!
Soll2005-10-01 17:05:24
A Demigod could still get nearly 5k as that race, though. tongue.gif
Daevos2005-10-01 17:07:03
Only Telekin mages would choose it

Shamarah2005-10-01 17:07:53
Well, telekinetics could use forcefield and effectively have 12...
Unknown2005-10-01 17:09:04
Oh man...24 intelligence and the recoveries....*sway* That would be SO hard to resist.
Soll2005-10-01 17:11:41
Telekins could get 8.4k ego at Demi, with 5k health if that falls. tongue.gif

On topic!

I really hope this does lead to Isune returning...
Unknown2005-10-01 18:13:48
Why does everyone think Lacostian's doing this stuff just 'for the love of Isune'? Did either of them particularly act that way towards each other before, or is everyone just assuming since a book chapter had a joke about them, that it's law?

When Isu asplodied, Lacostian and Estarra were both telling people that it had to be possible to bring Her back, right? It makes sense that He would go right ahead and work out a way to try to do just that... I think He'd probably do the same for any Divine.
Unknown2005-10-01 18:55:08
It's hinted at in the History of the Elder Wars, at least that's what some are speculating.
Unknown2005-10-01 19:03:01
My main issue is this - Isune sacrificed Herself to empower the Seals - it was HER energy that gave Avechna the "oomph" to put Kethuru back. If we remove that energy..

You get the picture.
