NEXUS SURGE
- Can only be done at the city or commune nexus on prime.
- Converts every prime room within the city or commune's influence to its
'natural' state. All of Magnagora will be tainted, Serenwilde will revert
to regular forest, ect. The exception is New Celest, which will become
flooded.
- Breaks all melds that exist within the city or commune's home territory.
- Costs 100 power, plus one power for each room affected.
The Megalith of Doom surges, a thick crack open in its side and releasing a torrent of putrid black smoke. The smoke fans out over the city, thickening the miasma of filth that surrounds it until it eventually settles down and is absorbed into the earth.
The shimmering water of the Pool of Stars surges inward and then skyward, fountaining up and forming a dazzling geyser of power. Droplets of pure water sprinkle outward from it, raining down on Celest until the entire city has been doused.
A thick, writhing mass of shadows squirm from the knothole in the Master Ravenwood. The dark mass begins to seperate, forming thousands of shadowy tendrils that slither outward into the Glomdoring. The shadows wrap around and merge with the trees, causing them to sway with dark vibrancy.
ect.
Not too useful, as you very rarely see any significant offensive melding within a city or commune, but still cool. -I- think so, anyway.

The annoying about that is, if I'm not mistaken, Celest is the only one that really needs that. Mag is tainted, the communes are foresty, and Celest is often rather annoyingly dry.

Celest has it no better than the forests, though. At least you guys can meld the Inner Sea, and the Water Plane, and most of the rivers; Glomdoring and Serenwilde can only naturally meld their communes and their ethereal counterparts.
Magnagora gets the Blasted Lands, the city, the Sea of Despair, Spectre Isle, the Shallach Rivers, the Earth Plane, and Nil.

Ooh, and the Shallach Ruins. Maybe Catacombs of the Dead, too.

I said to the culture minister a while back that they need to build aqueducts all over the city for emergency flood control purposes, but I think whoever it was got replaced by Aebrin not long after...
Unknown2005-10-03 01:55:30
They just need to flood that .
