Good think of being female, if a guy causes problems with you there're a dozen other guys who will come to the rescue.

Only problem is, when you do hope some guy comes cause problems, your male friends scare them off before he can.

And frankly, I would have stop serving him drinks much earlier and refused to come anywhere nearby, you showed a lot of profesionality staying there serving drinks to such an idiot. I am sure your manager was just releasing frustration over bad things happening at her pub.

somthing like that happened to my cousin. she was working at a bar covering for her friend who owned it while he had a meeting, and this guy came up and kept harassing her, he then reached over the bar and grabbed her ass, she smashed a beer glass over his head and called the cops to take him out of there. the guy then sued her for it, but she says she wouldn't have done it any other way. personally i feel you were totally justified, and your manager was just venting so don't hold it against her.
