Faethorn needs an overhaul - end of story. Something needs done to replace the "used to be worthwhile now nothing to do because there is nothing freakin there" forest.

I actually agree with you. Faethorn has become useless for both forests, and it's just turned into what is perceived to be a huge free PK area. I miss the old days where I could wander around Faethorn and have some Moondancers come walk me around without trying to wisp me into traps or Druids setting their demesnes on me. It kind of ruins the impression of the place as magical, and overrides it instead as "forest full of mangled bodyparts and flying limbs"

As soon as those piece of Archways were put in, we were asking for them to be removed. Very few people wanted them to remain, but as custom in Lusternia, once something is coded in, it's unlikely to be removed. Alot of Serenwilde members also though the Archways were a good idea once they were put in and loved it.
Another thing, Rowena teaches us to love the fae, not mistreat them, saying that they are not to be abused. I forgot her words exactly, but from our standpoint we are not harming the fae... our shadows bound to the fae to us is the same as you having to feed a honeycake to one to get it to go with you. Now, I will admit this was different when we had to kill them.. but that was our only option at the time. Then again, maybe it changed back considering no one friggin searches for fae anymore.

A few people liked them, I think I was undecided about them at the time. Now, I don't much like them but it's not one of my major gripes. I think they are more useful for Glomdoring though, purely because of our numbers and more experienced fighters who like to raid EtherGlom when they can. The archways make it a tiny bit harder, since we can no longer climb into the trees and enter EtherGlom to circumvent your guards.
As for your role, sorry if I seemed to be knocking it. That wasn't my intention at all. I appreciate that the Shadowdancers and Glomdoring have a different view of the things the Moondancers and Serenwilde have strong opinions on and I'm totally cool with it. If it seems I'm being one-minded about it and nagging on about the lessening of our ideals, it's just because I'm speaking from the Moondancer point of view.

I thought it was a nymph? Who started bitching and moaning when we were mulching the trees in Faethorn, saying they were special to her and such. Basically, the Admins telling us the wood there is only for Magnagorans and Glomdorians

It was indeed poor Siv's nymph.
