I believe a recent envoy changed stun a bit. Shieldstun is still powered by STR but the length of time it takes to recover from any stunning is affected by size. Smaller = longer stunning.
Thus you web the big guys and stun the small frys.

Well for one do not go cooking unless for one you own a shop, and two you own an artifact spatula. Otherwise you cannot really make any money. If you do most of your money would be made of hosting herofetes or infusing foods with consitution and dexterity which is near transed.
Double portions is too far up I think and commodities to make each thing can get outrageous. I remember when fishcakes took 5 fish to make one fishcake!
With portions you can make anywhere from 2 - 3 portions. If you get a magical spatula it is 4-6 and that is the competition you will be dealing with as you cannot ever sell low enough and mass produce the competition without the magical spatual artifact unfortunately
Cooking would be nice if you had the ability to force feed people crotamine infused delicacies.

That's why you be a telekinetic mage with Cooking, you can forcefeed and make your own poison food.

I moved from Bookbinding, where I made no money at all, to enchanting quite recently. For a small while, I was making an absolute fortune... and then along came energy cubes.. I still make a bit but nothing like as much... how much does poisoned food hurt?

Hmm, I need some insight on these trade skills for future reference.
Peeka is a faeling and is not much of a warrior. I think Jewelry, Herbalism, Tailoring or Cooking would suit her personality best, but I have no idea how trade skills work. How many lessons does it take to be able to produce decent stuff? What's the market like for each profession? What makes them worthwhile or not?

I wouldn't recommend jewelry. Don't know about others.
Ialie2005-10-24 18:49:21
Yes Jewelry = bad. No jewelry for you. Only for me.

All tradeskills cost more to learn than they pay off. The only benefits are having said commodity always available, the transcendent ability, and the ability to help others get said commodity also.

THey reason they are so high is because I don't want to sell them but if someone -MUST- have them they can.

Powerstones are pricy because we can't cut them on demand. And the demand is big lately because of cubes. I like the current situation, I can get more gold for them, it can stay that way. If someone sells for cheap he's a sucker.
And a market griefer! New term!
