Hello all. I've got some questions and would appreciate some answers
1. What do you think is the best PvP choice for a person who can afford like 500 credits? Class/race, I mean.
2. Same as #1, but speaking of PvM.
3. Which classes in Lusternia are able to steal? How do they do it? Which guilds allow their members to steal?

1) mugwump druid or mage.
2) mugwump druid or mage.
3) both wicca guilds, nihilists and telepathic mages.

So obviously the best choice for you would be a telepathic mugwump mage, which would combine everything you list.

Nihilists have stealing bans (or rather, restrictions), though. The rest of them don't, to my knowledge, which is kind of weird now that I think about it.

Moondancers don't have thieving restrictions.

They also bash well.

Well, the main reason Kaervas is such an insane basher is forcefield, and if you have Telepathy you don't get that.

Bashing goes:

0-40: Mage
40-80: Knight
80-100: Mage

That is because the other Guilds have no honour.

Meaning the Nihilists are the most ninja-esque guild about.

Yeah, only, no.

To the latter part anyway.

Thievery is bad!

I've played a theif in others games (I have a theif/assassin in Ragnarok), and would do it here, except that you're stealing from people that have possibly put a good deal of money into the game. Taking everything in a player's store could be devastating, taking out an entire town in say, Morrowind, is nothing at all.

Forcefield doesn't make you tankier (unless you have much more ego than health), it just causes you to take ego damage instead of health damage. If your ego drops to 0, you still lose experience.

But you can turn it off..

So anything has to like, kill 90% of your ego and then all your health.

Meanwhile you can be sparkleberry/regenning your ego back up to switch it on when you get low on health.

Then why do all the telekinetics complain about being burned out, when it's so easily prevented?

Oh great just what we need another thief, i like to think that here in lusternia, we hold ourselves to a higher honor code that most other ire games, I would say the best choice for you would be a mugwump mage, but please don't be a thief.

About the thieves. Nihilists can't steal if you're deaf, right? Telepathy just isn't cool enough . So we came to the Dancers. They steal via Leprechaun and Pooka, right? Leprechaun isn't worth attention, but Pooka - what is it? You just make them do whatever you want? Only one order a time? I'd appreciate Pooka explained. Something similar to the Soulmaster of Achaea?

Also could someone explain the Tracking, Hunting and Dreamweaving skillsets to me, please? Like most important abilities in there and overall impression.

And the last question (I hope). Which methods of instant transportation to a person different classes have? Via ritual, moonbeam (the same as Prism tattoo?) - what else?

Moondancers aren't technically banned from stealing, but none of us do it. I don't think we'd take too kindly to it being done either, but I don't actually know what would happen o_O Just not something I ever thought about. Stealing just doesn't happen in Lusternia, really. Except Yreal, who is now gone permanently.

But to answer your other questions, Moonbeam is a local area teleport that ignores monoliths. Best way to steal from shops in Lusternia, but if someone actually used it for that, I'd kick them out of the guild in a second. I hate the skill being used that way >_< Flow is the best form of instant teleportation in Lusternia, but it is pure forest to pure forest only for Serenwilders and taintforest to taintforest only for Glomdorians. Spores work well too, but they are mainly for instant escape - Serenwilders and Glomdorians have access to them.

Everyone gets Teleport, but that isn't very instant. Everyone also gets Summon.

I think Shadowdancers have anti-theft laws.

Pooka lets you force someone to perform an action, but you have to wait for him to get control first.



But yeah, theft just isn't looked well upon here.
