10 oozes a pustule.

That means 50 gold an ooze.

It's 10. Or 5. Pretty sure it's 10. But it's been a long time since I've done it.
Unknown2005-10-04 22:38:43
I always counted it being roughly 6-8 per pustule... *shrug*

I've counted it at 5 a pustule. The trick is that only three pustules only exist at one time, so if you hand over 20, you'll see 4 being created but one will 'vanish'..
Shorlen2005-10-05 07:37:39
I think the little bit of gold from the pixie quest != the gold income from a near-monopoly on some comm and poison production o_O But ignoring those, spiders are needed for the Tosha quest - that's just not fair that Glomdoring enemies are at such a disadvantage for a truly NEUTRAL quest

That's a silly solution. You have to not be an enemy of Glomdoring to do a neutral quest?
Ashteru2005-10-05 09:39:26
Oh, I assume Shorlen wouldn't be allowed to enter Glom for ten years...at least.
Bau2005-10-05 10:17:41
You were neutral once.
Alger2005-10-05 11:15:30
MAYBE we should all just stop fighting! Then there would be no such thing as enemy territory...
woooooooo...
fat chance...

...And completely ignore RP on all sides? where as Serenwilde RP either says 1. Hate taint 2.Hate cities 3.some of the above. Glomdoring RP says GO CRAZY AND KILL! and Mag rp and celestian rp are so anti-each other
Yes, I'm glad they made wood production no longer glom-only, they should follow with spiders now.

Erm... wrong - that was a PLAYER-based decision on Serenwilde RP, not at all the RP that Serenwilde began with. It was smaller, it was more like this.
1.) Protect the Seren
2.) Hate the Cities
3.) Hate the Taint.

Not entirely true. The Histories state that the Great Trees and Communes were created for the purpose of healing the Basin from damage/refuse of the Soulless. Taint is a byproduct of Kethuru.

I'm NOT saying 'nerf Glom!' but Glom has a monopoly on five poisons (clumsiness, withered arms, chills, weakness, blindness), two commodity quest items (wood, silk), and quest items for a completely neutral quest (spiders for Tosha). Serenwilde has a monopoly on one poison (deafness). Magnagora has a monopoly on nothing. Celest has a monopoly on nothing.
This just doesn't seem right to me.

Can't you get blindness from the cobras in Skarch Desert? I know they give blindness, so it seems logical to me you could get it from them. *Shrug*
Xavius2005-10-05 19:47:53
Blindness comes from the cockatrices only, which I imagine are as hard for a Seren to get as it is for me to come get the sheep out of the hills just north of Serenwilde. They aren't found in the commune proper.

Sheep are in the mountains too. I guess the hills aren't part of the forest, so that's only four poisons, not five, that they have a monopoly on.
