I want to choose a race other than human and it didnt give me an option for choosing a race. how do you pick say Elfen or Tauren or something like that

If you are using the Nexus Client - choosing your race happens during the very very beginning, with all the pictures. You need to press the left or right arrows at the name of the race, and it will go through the differing races - bringing up their picture at the same time.

When you're at the racial screen, you can SELECT ELFEN, I think. But as you've already created, you can use your reincarnation. You need to die, bring your soul to the portal of fate, and REINCARNATE INTO *race*

Its best to do the reincarnation process with someone else, as they could kill you at the entrance to the Portal of Fate, and you can quickly run into it and reincarnate. Also, if you have any credits there are a couple other things you can do - which is buy a Changeling Cameo or a Dagger of Reincarnation (The dagger is usually used if you already wasted a previous reincarnation)

If you haven't been around long, might want to consider just making a new character (its generally poor taste to use the same name in my opinion, kinda weird rp-wise) and select the proper race, and save your reincarnation for when you've played the game a while and know what you want of your character better.
