Update: Able to bash non-aggro gorgogs with no vials, and a fire penalty. That should take me to 75+, hopefully.

If you 'just' seek to bash then I would go for a mugwump geomancer. Mugwump because of speed and decent int and geomancer because their staff is nice. Combined with telekinetics they are tanky and kill at insane speed. There is also another advantage. Not only allows being a Magnagoran hunting in the catacombs but there is one important addition, Magnagoran hunters get far less often jumped than Celest or Serenwilde hunters. There are exceptions of course, but those are rare.

Celest did want me, I was let in, and was a Celestine with skills remarkably similar to what I have currently as Kymir (trans Nihilism and Necro, myth tarot for Kymir, Trans Celestialism and Sacraments, fabled tarot for Jack). I left because Celest is boring, useless and unlikely to change.

EDIT: Jesus Christ, are you retarded? I wasn't a spy to begin with in Magnagora, just an ordinary citizen. Became a spy eventually and siphoned information to people like Shamarah and Etanru, and planned a raid of the Nihilist Guildhall. Went berserk when Guido was cast out and tried to kill Erion, which resulted in my leaving for Celest, which was as crappy inside as I was led to believe from outside. I left and attempted to join the Glomdoring effort, but since it was led by Erion that really wasn't happening. Pretty much sat at the Portal for the whole Kethuru event, and joined Glomdoring the second it came out, becoming a tri-trans Shadowdancer. Got bored with that (OMGWTFBBQ LAPSE OF ARGH-PEE CASE 6966) and left for Celest, where I became previously-mentioned Celestine. I fought all of twice with my OMGWTFLOLOVARPOWARD skillz0rz, then left for Magnagora, forgetting and relearning so many times that I don't even have one trans skill, now.

I've bashed as a lucidian. The resistances are nice, the 14 intelligence is decent (not great), and they do not have a sip penalty. They do have a fire and blunt penalty, but both can be easily dealt with using psionic resistances. So, add in the creative use of the force field (release it when ego gets low), and the acquisition of a throne, I was able to push my effective health into the 9k range.
