No! ninja.gif

Yes!
Shamarah2005-10-08 21:04:32
Cities should be able to buy alembics as upgrades. They can obviously be very expensive.

*nod me*

Though Pentagrams should be city-only. Stupid treehuggers aren't intelligent enough to sustain 'em. ninja.gif
Acrune2005-10-08 21:07:38
Yeah, they'd keep trying to use a hexagram, but that wouldn't work.
Vix2005-10-08 21:08:45
What would be the point of having a pentagram or alembic if no one in the city/commune has the skill to use it?
Unknown2005-10-08 21:09:08
No.

Or a disloyal Communer.
Estarra2005-10-08 21:13:03
I think its been mentioned several time that mage and guardian guilds may purchase pentagrams, and druid and wiccan guilds may purchase alembics.

The guardians and mages want to purchase alembics. That's what we're saying no to. smile.gif

Actually, only rogue enchanters. Alchemists require a link to a commune nexus.
Rashidat2005-10-08 21:16:05
News to me. I thought you only needed powerstones.

You sure? I think Magnagora had a rogue alchemist at one time.

I know in the beginning for certain it took Moonhart-specific. I imagine now it's just commune specific - but I'm really sure it is.
Sylphas2005-10-08 22:47:13
For a while, Magnagora had an alchemist using the alembic in Glomdoring, shortly before the commune came out. I believe it has been tested, and only city-folk can enchant, and only commune-folk can amalgamate, regardless of where it's actually done at.
Narsrim2005-10-08 23:30:06
Silvenae or whatever was the rogue alchemist in Magnagora and she could not do potions even at the alembic when she left.
Jairdan2005-10-08 23:51:55
Actually, from what i've personally witnessed, you're all wrong tongue.gif

Beldaran was a Magnagoran Alchemist very recently. She could refill at Glomdoring's Alembic, but she was most certainly a Magnagoran.

Anarias, when he first left Celest and joined Serenwilde, stayed Enchanter, and did enchantments for Serens for a long time as a Seren.

You do not need a link to anything, it seems.
Athana2005-10-08 23:53:36
Yay, I'm not crazy! happy.gif

Oh, you're crazy.

Crazy like a FOX!
