Ok, so I had someone today want to make copies of two of my published works (book IDs 1 and 7), so I pulled the originals out of the Library for him, and unsealed one of them so he could copy it.
He returns it, and I re-seal it without ever changing anything to it, and it is branded a "new edition" and has to undergo the review process again.
There should be some way to copy published books with the consent of either the author or the Librarian (though in this case I'm both), or is there and I'm just missing it?
I'm not talking about requesting additional copies for the Library - the person wanted private copies of the book.

seal scroll
You seal a fine vellum scroll.
You have just sealed a published book, creating a new edition. You will not be
able edit this book again until it has gone through the review process.
