Cities would be fine if they had an Alembic. Or even if Deepnight had an Alembic.

No. No no no no.
Shamarah2005-10-08 20:59:48
We'll give you an enchanter pentagram if you let us have an alembic. smile.gif

I never bother with enchantments, now. I can fly over water, I can swim, I have trout totem, I have a tome, sparkleberry, sip bonus, and a medicine bag. I don't need none of your regens, I can just raise a forest. tongue.gif I might need a cleanse, but it's rare anyone saps me.

Exactly. You can do without enchantments except for cleanse. There is no way for us to survive without potions.

I vote all the oxygen leaves the air, and you need an enchantment def in order to breathe it without taking damage smile.gif

And you all can't move without sipping a vial of skunk urine every ten minutes. happy.gif
Acrune2005-10-08 21:27:47
Or we can't bash or fight or influence or cure anything at all without sipping... oh, wait.... doh.gif
Unknown2005-10-08 21:31:11
That's not really true. When I was bashing dwarves in Southgard during influencing, I only had to sip once each dwarf, which was at the end, just to get health back quickly. Sparkle, tome, and forest regen really just kept me going well enough.
Acrune2005-10-08 21:32:37
Ok, now you're just trying to ignore the truth of what's being said.

QUOTE(Ekard @ Oct 8 2005, 07:52 AM)
I was in comand during influencing and it was 3 of us able to influence in first few minutes. Me, Shinza and Kaileigh. And me alone influenced around 7-10 dwarfs in mines in first minutes.

Ok, you had 3 influencers, at this time we already had around 15+  The first time around is useally very important, it's not about who kills who, that is a side effect of sorts, is who and keep whom from influencing the denizens, so if Nars kills Daevos, he conguls and has to walk back, meh, like 1 minute of influencing lost, not much.  If 15 serenwilders grab 2 dwarves each, that's almost the whole village right there.

Then after i heard how many influencers Seren have i ordered to stop influencing and start killing Mags and Gloms. And we did it. And when we get 8 people to influence, Mags and Gloms were constantly killed. I ordered to start influenicng again and we were doing pretty well and  i asked again to allow us to take it and gor same answer, we have 18 peoples here.

At this time we had been influencing for an hour, 15+ influencing for an hour.. and you had 3-8 influencing -some- of that time

So after trying to convince you all to stop influence for a bit and give us a chance you sad NO.
So i ordered to pull back. Peoples were alredy pissed on Kelodan for killing dwarfs and Kaileigh.

And you gona tell me that Glomdoring would get it before us if you would just help in killing them?

What they are trying to tell you is if we had stoped influencing, all of our influencers would have left, which would have left, as Narsrim said, 4-5 "regular figters" there.  So yes, even if those few would have killed every mag/glom they would have come back with GRACE up, debated some of you guys out, and been ahead of you anyway. So yes, you would have lost had we pulled out when you told us to, not all of those 20 people would have stayed, because most of them were like me and Ibby, or Laneth, people there just to influence for Serenwilde, not to fight at all.  80% of serenwilders go bye-bye=celest lose village, understand?

Deavos-Celest could have easily won that village if Serenwilde had helped them. You dominated the area with your druids and wisp traps. It was Serenwilde's choice to take the village, your force and fortification was so great, that by the time I arrived it was clearly only a choice between Celest and Serenwilde regarding winning the village. I just stuck in there and tried to help Glomdoring out of pure stubbornness.

See above, which was stated BEFORE you posted by other serenwilders, so you SHOULD have read. Summery, if we wouldn't have been going to it for us, we would have had maybe 4 people there, you guys would have had little resistance, and whom, nuff said

Malicia-1. Our starting goal was to help them. It should have ended that way. The moment Ekard said, Hey, I got some people here, we should have let them take it. Why whine about having to help them with the village if that was our PRIMARY GOAL? Don't twist things.

No offence Malicia, but you weren't there, I was, we said "OOOH southgard! lets take it so the Gloms don't!" RIGHT from the start NO, we did not come in there helping celest at the start and switch, we got in there RIGHT away with 15+ people and started influencing

Mainly it's like this, Serenwilde was there before celest, serenwilde had more people then celest, serenwilde had a HUGE lead on everything, celest asked us to stop(which would have handed it to the taint) we said no, they got pissed, rouge elements of each Org said "WOOT, time to stir things up!" and they did.

And seeing as MULTIPLE people have said this, and certain people arn't listening, that is the last time I'm saying any of this OOC.

Well, actually it wouldn't have handed it to the taint...since you said it already...all of Serenwilde was already there when you were asked to stop. If you had allowed Celest to influence, and then some of you would've left because Serenwilde wouldn't have got it, well, THEN it would have been handing it to the taint.
Gregori2005-10-08 22:42:40
That's the whole point. A good number of the people there would not have been there if it was being given to Celest. Believe it or not, not everyone in the Serenwilde likes Celest. I myself logged on to check messages (I was packing for my moving this weekend and took a break), saw the village up and heard we were influencing so I stayed to help. If I had heard Celest was influencing I would have logged off to do the crap I needed to get done.

Ummm...yeah...I don't see the point of your post, but I'll try to explain mine more:

So, Serenwilde goes full force in and thinks they'll influence, but then, if Nejii would have been there, it would've been decided that Celest influences while Serenwilde smooshes the enemy. Well, if the Serens would have left, wouldn't they be leaving it to the taint themselves because they leave, and not by giving the village to the Celestians?
Sylphas2005-10-08 22:48:44
Mhmm. I know I would have done the same thing. I'm not part of Celest, I'll be damned if I'm going to work to get them a village. If they want a village, they can get it themselves. Much of Serenwilde thinks the same.
Malicia2005-10-08 22:53:00
Well, I hope Celest wisens up. SW has turned into a bunch of greedy cocky people and it'll bite the hell out of us later, when Mag and Glom gang up on us. This thread should be locked? I'm getting sick.
Gregori2005-10-08 22:54:35
Except most of the people there were influencers -not- combatants. Of all the Seren there showing in my log of last night on scent. I can see 4 that would definately stay, 7 that would leave immediately and the other 3 are anybodies guess.

So you would have 4 combatants you could count on. Magnagora's forces though small could have easily handled that, as the only reason the wisp trap was effective was do to druids keeping the place forested. Remove the druids except 1 and the geomancers or Blacktalon could have easily wiped out the demesne.
Gregori2005-10-08 22:57:49
Malicia there is a simple cure. Stop censor.gif reading it then.

Yeah...but then it would've been Serenwildes fault if it had fallen to the Taint...
Gregori2005-10-08 23:05:08
Ok... are you daft? Those people who would have left are NOT Combatants? They are influencers, they don't run around and fight, they run around and influence. So if they are not influencing, they are doing nothing.
Malicia2005-10-08 23:06:56
To Gregori- It's here. I read the forums and it's just getting sickening. You guys act as if SW has been doing everything on our own and we haven't. Celest has been the little helper, here and there. The cockiness really makes me ill.

How about..you watch your language when you address me and stop acting like a little child? It's a shame how you lash out when someone disagrees with you. smile.gif
