Looks like Serenwilde is about to get another village. I feel sorry for Magnagora... such talent getting beat down by numbers.

I hear Serenwilde is helping Celest take it? I am so sad. I was so thrilled to hear that Serenwilde was fighting on its own now.. but.. then again, both Malicia and Nejii are on, so, its really not a surprise.. though its really quite a shame. I would have loved to see Serenwilde get another village solo.

Serenwilde and Celest will never fight on their own.

I actually came in -after- they decided to give it to Celest, you know. They dissolved the ESA (or at least I was kicked out of it), so if I had been the one to make the decision I would have said to take it for ourselves since they're obviously not interested in our help.

Kalodan is extremely livid. He was refused a CF for killing dwarves in Southgard because it didn't help the Wilde (let's not count all the fighting and foresting he did - others who did a hell of a lot less are getting CFs), and now they're giving stewarts to Celest - undoubtedly Malicia and Terenas made that decision.

Mmm from what I hear it was Malicia and Terenas commanding Serenwilde to help Celest.

If you have concerns with the leadership and you're part of the organization, take them somewhere in game.

All organizations are set up as democracies by default, its not just one person that we get to blame.

I am in the process of taking it in game. I have a few things planned that should be interesting - for me, at least.

I am just at work at the moment and doing anything on telnet is very difficult.

I've heard accusations that Malicia threatened people over it, but I'm sure she's not that stupid. Apparently Terenas and Elryn decided to give it to Celest, and Narsrim and Malicia who for some reason think they have equal say in that. I'd love to see Nejii and Tsuki come down against them and have us take the village, just to see what sort of fit they throw.

Not likely. I love Tsuki to death, but I've never once seen her be heavy-handed, even when Laneth screwed up and was ripe for some punishment (in a non sexual way, out of the gutter!).

I heard the same accusation, actually, Sylphas. I didn't want to mention it because I wasn't sure it was true, but if you heard it to, that makes me wonder.

I hope it isn't true.. because no one in Serenwilde (at least during my time) was EVER forced to help Celest. It was always freewill. If she's resorted to threats, then I'll have lost all respect for her. However, I won't jump to any conclusions unless there's a bit more proof presented.

If it's true, I fully expect her to be swiftly replaced as Champion. Probably be disappointed on that, but it would be the right thing to do. Once again though, I doubt she's that stupid. Although there was definitely underlying threat tones when I asked what would happen if I did influence. Nothing outright though.

The whole thing just seems silly to me. The way this has been going, we could have gotten it ourselves and not had to bother propping up a city who can't help themselves.

Stewarts will go to Magnagora. No worries there.

The funny part is, in the end, this is just going to end up making Serenwilde dislike the situation even more, and sooner or later, asking them to help Celest just isn't going to fly any more. Its obviously not this time, but down the road, I can easily see Serenwilde taking Delport from Celest when Starhuggers (ha! new term ) aren't around

I wish Serenwilde had been able to continue on the anti-city momentum it had going as well.

We could have had a nice reshuffling of powers!

The momentum is by no means lost, we just need a few people to keep pushing the agenda.

This is stupid. I've got SEG off for the first time in my life, after being shouted down for arguing with Malicia when she tried to say that not ordering the Serenguard not to influence in the future was her having our best interests at heart. It sucks having most of our top fighters and leaders in bed with a city.

1. I did not threaten Shorlen not to influence. It was cleared up, in game.

2. I said that I've always held the SW's best interests at heart and I wasn't sure why it was being questioned. You speak of a person's right to influence a village and I reminded you that I could easily decide NOT to ever influence again. I normally speak for the Serenguard, because they respect me and what I've done and some of them even seem a bit annoyed with the other two guilds. Sylphas has seemed a bit..tense, ever since Terenas went behind you and CF'ed Gelthrae after you CDF'ed him for chopping down a tree. The Serenguard stick together.

3. Jairdan, I normally refrain from commenting in the flame threads on you, but most people were happy to see your character go. You didn't do much there but whine when you couldn't get your way.

4. If I go to Celest, which most likely WON'T happen, it isn't anyone's concern. The Serenguard want me there and most of them will attest to it. I really REALLY wish I hadn't mentioned that here. It was something I mentioned in annoyance, but I love the SW and SG. I've been there for ages and this is probably the first time I've ever been on the 'bad side' of anyone there. Ah well. Whatcanyado? I'm not going to cry about it.
