Actually, Serenwilde had more than 18 who could influence. I didn't include the CR2s. And that number grew by the way.
Oh I see, that makes perfect sense.
No, wait, it doesn't. Do you know WHY you had more than 18 people and we didn't? Could it possibly have anything to do with the fact that Serenwilde has 50 billion freakin people in it?
Serenwilde = griefers. kthnxbai
Gregori2005-10-08 11:25:59
So Serenwilde has people and Celest doesn't. Cause well Celest is about as useful as tits on a frog and nobody wants to be there, and this makes us griefers? Boy, I can't wait to put more effort into annoying Celest now.
Unknown2005-10-08 11:27:48
Celest has nothing to offer, i mean any new novice probably lasts and hour there before it gets raided or something and just goes, this is shit, bye. Then either joins Mag or Seren, or quits. Then there's everyone who joins that wants to be evil, and the rest who are like, hey it's a forest thing, i can rip off people with herbs and refills and joins Serenwilde.
Gregori2005-10-08 11:30:02
What Celest needs to do is stop its bloody whining and poor poor me attitude and actually get its act together and accomplish something. Please note my signature, particularly the last two lines.

Its GREAT!

Yes, fear my avatar!
Gregori2005-10-08 11:32:58
Seriously, get off your high horses and do something. Perhaps fight Serenwilde next time. Do you seriously think we can handle conflict on three sides? Instead of all this "We need them or else we get slaughtered" Do some slaughtering yourselves and teach Serenwilde that being a Heretic is not a good thing.
Unknown2005-10-08 11:34:45
Yes, i agree. BURN SERENWILDE! BURN IT TO THE GROUND!
Ialie2005-10-08 11:36:59
How come no one thinks its weird for Serenwilde to kill the villagers they are supposed to be trying to influence to protect when the villagers are pondering some place else? Isn't that kind of weird for Serenwilde? Especially since before this Serenwilde sort of was friends or lose buddies.... or.. friends with benefits to Celest. Why would they kill villagers that are thinking of Celest? That in itself sounds like an act of war doesn't it?
Killing a person just because they are thinking of siding with another city?

People kill people for being in a organization, people kill people for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. They killed them i think so the amount of villagers alive were more in their favour meaning they win over the village easier? I dont know, i think if they kill any villager from the village their trying to influence during influence it should be harder, since you know, you are murdering them.
Gregori2005-10-08 11:42:42
I don't think killing them affects anything anyways, so is a pointless act. It seems to me that the influence "points" are added as soon as the denizen is influenced, and the respawn is about as long as waiting for them to switch to neutral again anyways.

And as was stated, only Kalodan did it. I'm sure he'd love to give his thoughts on why. As it is, all of Celest's influencing was doing was helping the Taint. They were being foolish. Unless their primary objective against the Taint has changed. Would Celest rather Glomdoring have Southgard? I'm truly curious now.

It just seems weird to me. Shocking, threatening and so on are tactics of Magnagora influence. Just seems odd to see Serenwilde so ready to go in and murder people (ccc innocents basically.. the ccc who don't attack unless you are enemied ..and the very same people you are trying to get to service you and so on) for power and commodities. Basically that village is under slavery. Choose us or we kill you. Just seems kind of shady to me.

Pointless on a gaming sense I suppose, but I am speaking entirely on the behalf of roleplay.

And yes forgive me. I should have pointed out that it was only Kalodan who was doing it.
Sorry for the triple post. Had a problem with quoting
Gregori2005-10-08 11:46:15
It doesn't go by I have more influenced currently than you do. It goes by I have influenced more total than you do. At least that is my theory. I could be totally off the wall on that.
Unknown2005-10-08 11:47:24
Killing them can effect both ways, killing can show that your stronger and if they dont follow you, you will kill them or that your killing them and they hate you for it so they dont follow you. So in all reality if you are actually killing them it can swing both ways helping your influence or hurting it.
Rauros2005-10-08 11:48:47
Typical of Serenwilde. "Only Kalodan was killing people. Kalodan does not equal Serenwilde. Therefore, Serenwilde is still your buddy buddy."
Deja vu anyone?
Deja vu anyone?
Gregori2005-10-08 11:51:05
So Rauros you will find it perfectly alright when I destroy the rift to the Pool of Stars, and any painting Celest has in our villages, because Ishimoru, Ichiro, and Ceres are Celest. Thanks for the input. Please go back to your famous whining now.
Unknown2005-10-08 11:51:28
That's not what I was saying at all Rauros. I was saying I can't speak for why he did it, but he can. And as for being your buddy buddy. My character will trust Celest even less after these stupid actions and expecting Serenwilde to HELP Celest hand a village to the Taint. That's what would've happened. We all know it. Stop whining.
