Letting someone low level follow you around while you kill things so they can level up quick like = power levelling = frowned upon at least by most players. Not sure of official stances.

More like getting past the very boring first levels. Better to run around killing things with a higher level than going around alone, getting bored, and deciding not to play Lusternia

Nothing wrong with helping someone.

I miss the days before XP for PK was nerfed. I gained something like 10 levels from a single kill on occasions, when I took down someone higher than me. Now that was power levelling.
