There's a few reasons I don't go to these rituals...maybe I should more.

First of all, Lucidian limbs are detachable and second of all it only seems to happen when I try to lead them. We're just lucky nothing exploded.

Yes, detachable limbs. Because of silly people not paying attention to where the hand was before then, and silly Eyod not being specific that he was removing his hand from Sylphas' head.
