The new system sounds quite interesting, and will probably be more equitable than any ordinary auction. Good stuff.

I estimate one, two at the most, hours until I have this finished. Once it is done, I will announce it and put up the help files. At which time, I will be running a small "test" auction that you are all free to enjoy. Ofcourse, if you win the auction, you will get what ever I auction off.

No, individuals will not be able to set up their own auctions. There is just too much risk of abuse for that. Divine can set up auctions for individual orgs if they wish.

That would have been great when my char was Wisdom of the Culture Sphere.

Will there be periodic other auctions during non-celebration times so a nifty system like this doesn't get rusty?

It's all based on how these auctions go over, if the players like it then we may do a few artifact auctions a year.
