Are aliases and such OOC? and if so how do you describe them to novices without it being horribly OOC

I just talk to them about it blatantly OOC in tells. I consider most forms of tells to be OOC in nature, so. Unless they start it ICly.

well, you could say it in a way that sounds ICly, but the novice won't have any idea what you're talking about, so yeah, blatant OOC will have to do.

Pointing out help scrolls is wonderful. Though yes, y'might have to go OOC to fully explain it to someone who's confused.
