Most fun I've had in Lusternia in a long while!
Along with Sham's points he listed, how about not having herbs/potions used up up there?
Also, how frequently will these be played? I loooooved it!

Re Trueheal and Serpent: Uprooting removes your initial prismatic barrier, which cancels out Trueheal, and it also zaps your Serpent returning barrier if you have one.

Congrats! You guys got an early head start, I didn't know you could use WILDNODES NODES to see where the nodes were. That was a lot of fun.
Couple suggestions:
1. Disable cubixes?
2. Make spheres link and unlink MUCH more frequently.
How often is this going to happen?

No
Serenwilde and Glomdoring do not have direct ways up there whereas Celest and Magnagora have thier stations at the center? We get tuarus which is near Mag so we have to travel across the entire plane just to get to taurus and the same with glomdoring.
Shryke2005-10-11 01:17:42
what about... uproot, then trueheal?
Unknown2005-10-11 01:19:17
Kudos to Shampoo for coming up with the idea. I enjoyed that a lot. However, one quick thing:
1. As Shampoo said, cubix should be disabled, and link/unlink should happen more frequently. I personally consider this event as a sport more than anything - I think it would be fair if all teams, all cross had their cubixes disabled so they have to travel through Astral the old fashion, musical chairs way.
Otherwise, I it was quite enjoyable for the time being. We'll see how it goes next time.

For 1: you can't take the nodes off Astral anyway, so why would we do that?

That was so much fun, thank you!!!!!! I liked that way better than village revolts And thanks Shamarah for the idea

Actually, Wild Nodes was already being coded when Shamarah posted his idea, I thought it was quite funny how coincidence had it that he'd post something similar during it.

Can't do anything while uprooting or planting.

But! It's awesome, and I love the idea, and can't wait. We just got screwed, as we had Munsia for fighters. No Gregori, Malicia, Narsrim, Terenas. No capable leaders, nuthin'. So.. Yea. But, I can't wait for the Envoy reports to be done with, so hopefully Beckon will be changed appropriately.

The only problem with beckon is you not shielding when you knew a group of Nihilists was standing one room away. Also, when you -were- shielded, and knew that said Nihilists were one room away, you went ahead and cudgeled one of us
Beckoning through obstacles is a problem, but you weren't behind any wall or door.

Cubix is needed to get up there since most people dont have the skill nexus and serenwilde enemies cant use magnagoras megalith

Astrologers have astroglide...does it take entourages? I've never had occasion to use it (please, no lube puns or I will have to be vulgur and bring out my own jokes and puns. You don't want that).

Raising your hands to the sky, you face eastwards and beseech the Spirits of
Spring to cleanse Daevos. A sparkling wind surges from the east and wraps
around Daevos, to cleanse his aura.
Daevos's prismatic barrier flickers and retreats into the top of his skull.
With a final heave, Daevos pulls a wild node free of the ground, and it begins
to make an odd humming noise as he picks it up.
Daevos has uprooted a wild node in the Astrosphere of Taurus.
Umm... it didn't.

It would be better if Seren had Aquarius and Glom had Aries...but that doesn't make sense..except I always thought Glom would be aligned with Aries because of the rooms there
