Bah. You know, if this was most any other friend, it wouldn't be as bad, because I could, if I tried, find out what was going on with them, and if they were ok and all. Anyone have any idea what happened to him and what's going on? We're all going to be worried sick until we find out (and possibly worry more after finding out).

He's fine at the moment, in most senses of the word. His computer use is very much restricted to the point where it's basically non-existent, and in the near future will be entirely so. I'm not as worried as I was. Things are bad, but he'll be ok in the long run.

Umm... Nejii gone? Whatever's happened has gotta be a pretty big deal... I made a mental list of the things, including natural disasters destroying all phone lines in a 300 mile radius (crossed out cuz I'd have heard about it)... But the list was pretty short.

Inner Sanctuary.
This small, circular chamber is about ten feet across, lit by flickering balls of faeriefire set into niches in the walls. The vaulted ceiling is studded with small gems, reflecting the light and throwing dancing flecks of color across the room. Carved into the living wood of the walls is a pattern of leaves, amidst which are set scenes from the history of the Serenwilde. You can smell the faint scent of roses lingering here. A statue of Nejii stands here, memorializing his noble spirit. A silvery scroll is here, glittering in the available light. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. A pretty bunch of yellow freesias is here. A solitary violet iris is here. Lending a chill to its surroundings, a tulip of dusk lays here. A rare striped orchid is here. A pink carnation lies here, discarded. A cluster of orange snapdragons is here. A brilliant yellow lily lies here on the ground. An exotic tiger lily lies here. An elegant tulip lies here, forlornly. There are 3 red foxs here. You see a sign here instructing you to use the PORTAL command to enter the aetherplex system.
There are no obvious exits.

He is a bouncing furrikin and of slighly above average height for his race,
standing at about 3'2. Bearing strong resemblance to a fox, he is possessed of a deep black fur that covers almost all of his body, bar a short, thin white streak on his muzzle. Dark brown eyes twinkle from under a tuft of wayward fur, and a ragged cut in one ear twitches constantly. His bushy tail waves around, as though anxious to be on the move. His arms end in small, spindly hands that are nonetheless sure in their movements, and are dirty as though frequently used to being buried in soil. He is wearing a silver tiger ring, a thick ring of carved emerald, a wooden ring, a thick cloak of forestal hues, a friendship ring of pure jade, ethereal robes of sheer white silk, a gold and opal phoenix rising necklace, a ladybug-shaped brooch, a pair of runic black sandals, a starry burning censer brooch, an astrological bracelet, and a moondance bracelet.
