Hehe. I'm still in love with Morrowind. So many things you can do and the plot line just goes on and on and on. I'm to the point that I'm level 71, a Sorceress, and I've just finished the quest for one of the Daedra. Can't remember his name. He asked me to get his "razor" from a tomb called Alas. Let's just say I need to buy new spells.

OMG, I forgot you can do the world editor. I want a Lusternia mod soooo bad. SOOOO bad.

Question: There never was a TES construction set with an xbox version, right?

Vivec? I love Vivec. When I just got the game, I just stared at the screen like a wide eyed deer in awe of all the pretty colors. Then I found out how to actually play the game, which was even better.

hehe yah Vivec was fun to wander around. though personally i love the Telvanni style buildings (and their laws hehe if you steal something and get away with it, then it was obviously yours in the first place)

oh and does anyone seriously want to work on this patch, it would be fun to work on. Shotgun helping out

Well, it wouldn't be TOO hard, actually...sure, skinning and all would be hard, but most races could be done easily, like furrikin. Only problems I see are Tae'dae and Merian.

And yeah, Telvanni for Forests, a darker Balmora for Magnagora and Vivec for Celest.

And I already thought about guilds too....only problem I see is with Mages, and I am not sure how to fix that...<.<

And nothing beats my beloved Level 69 custom class Darkelf...*daydream* My house is full with artifacts, but since he's on the xbox, I had to take the house off of another owner.

mages perhaps could be modified to do their skills anywhere, if you've seen the wood-elf village patch thats sorta what i think seren would look like

The demo disc that comes with the december 05 issue of the official xbox magizine has a 20 minute preview of oblivion on it, mostly comprising of game play. It looks very, very nice. If you have an xbox, it might be worth buying that issue of the magizine just to see the preview. I was especially impressed with the radiant AI. One part of the preview shows a woman practicing her archery, and really sucking at it. So she picks up a potion laying around, drinks it, and tries again, and not only does better at shooting, but she comments on it. Then she feeds her dog, reads for a bit and goes to sleep, but her dog wakes her up, so she lights it on fire. Pretty neat.

I'm still in awe of Vivec. Vivec the city, not the god.

I just got a wonderful new notebook so I will be running out to buy (*cough*download*cough*) Morrowind and the like!

Forget Morrowind, buy Oblivion.

Tried Morrowind this weekend (my young brother had it and forgot to tell me until I asked).
My God those were ugly graphics!

Yer the game is only two or so years old...

Some of morrowind looked nice, some of it looked aweful. Some of it was downright sloppy. Corpses always had to be horizontal, so if something died on a steep incline, its corpse would be jutting out from where it died. Then there was the heads poking through the bottoms of bridges when a person was stuck underneath, the people or creatures poking their arms and legs through doors, and the shadows that went through walls (so you could be outside a building and see shadows from people on the walled off roof.) I'm sure Oblivion would be better because of the videos, it showed some neat things, such as a body rolling down a cliff (no more horizontal corpses) and some very interactable items.

With the Xbox hard drive, and the upgrades to Xbox Live, I wonder if you might be able to download mods anyway... Many of their games will get updates and patches, downloadable to your hard drive, and that's with the free, basic version of Live.

29 more days till it comes out, and I got that day off!

Too bad Microsoft is charging $100 for a 20GB Hard Drive.

Err.. anyway. Magna Carta, Wild ARMs: Alter Code F, and Dragon Quest come out next week. I don't know what to buy.. and I wonder if my discount kicks in.
