In all seriousness, if this is the case, you need to take a good look at your priorities. Spending large amounts of time on the computer is considered crazy by some.Â
If you don't have something that takes up your time, like work, school, sleep, or human interaction, you -can't- spend it all on Lusternia. For one, our bodies are not meant to be abused like this, and it will affect your health if you do that all the time. Also, you need -real- human interaction. I see far too many people that need a to go exercise, or have a girlfriend/boyfriend, or just... I dunno, it frustrates me to see people on all the time.
But, if you're taking a break, I applaud you, and I suggest you go fishing.

Whaddya mean, crazy?
As for that... well, my mate lives just down the road (literally, if I opened the window and shouted, he'd probably hear me... or at least my muffled voice)... and more friends within a short drive... and I'll be moving in with a friend of mine probably end of this year, start of next.
And I have over a day and a half on Kia alone, this week, already.
Are you saying I'm not normal?
Richter2005-10-12 23:15:53
Wasn't specifically directed at you. It was more general advice.
Kiarlea2005-10-12 23:26:35
Course it wasn't directed at me, I hadn't posted yet
But still!
But still!

I think what he is saying is do something productive with your life and do not live on a game. Yes it's fun and addictive but it should nto control your life, and you should nto manage your time around it more like go out have fun then play when you have nothing else to do....disclaimer:
if your a lonely loser with no friends and the world hates you this dose nto apply to you...

As said in other games. If we are having fun doing what we like to do, and also lead our lives normally I.E knowing that you have to pay rent before buying credits, or not missing out on work or school to play. Then it is really none of anyone's business how we spend are free time. As long as we are having fun with no harm to ourselves that is the point, It is no different than staying up all night watching tv, or spending all night out at a party and so on. The game is fun for me. It is what I do. I spend oodles and oodles of time here, not because I am addicted, but because it is what I want to do.
Kiarlea2005-10-13 01:11:33
I'd have to say spending most my waking hours in front of a computer is less damaging than spending every weekend-night puking my guts up from grog and drugs.

Murphy, it becomes scary when -you- do that. The most terrible jokes come out of your blurred mind.

Shorlen just step back and take that break you need dude.
We're all sad about seeing Shiri go, but we're not all going to deal with it the same way. Some of us don't know the reasoning behind it, so it makes it a little difficult to experience the loss the same as the few that do know it.
We'll try not to blow anything up while you're gone.

Hey, when I'm not sick, I spend 3-4 hours a day, when I'm sick, I spend 15 hours a day. Can't say someone plays too much untill you know his or her medical situation.
Though it's kind of sad, right when Serenwilde was starting to get the upper hand, they screw it up themself, internally. The amount of people contesting Nejii now, just shows a complete lack of comradship and an excess of powermongering. Can't you just all agree on one Seneschal without even the need for these kind of popularity contests and backstabbing?
Definition of "powermonger".. : If you see Seneschal as a position of might and reward rather than a taxing burden you'd rather not have, but has to be done.. you're a powermonger. Besides that, the only viable option I can see is Laysus, why not just all agree he should be Seneschal instead of bickering? Or whoever else is just plain the best choice.

Hey, just like Celests latest election!
Unknown2005-10-13 11:04:20
I'll just say that all candidates in this election have their good and bad qualities. A popularity contest is probably what it will become though, rather than individuals voting for the best possible leader. It shouldn't be an easy choice for everyone. If it is, they're just voting for their pal.
Iridiel2005-10-13 11:06:00
Sorry to be so bold, but isn't it _always_ a popularity contest?
I mean, each time there's an election there's a 50% of people who vote "the most nice" "the one who talks to me" "the one who is my guildmate".
I've still have to see an election where each and all of the involved parties explain why are they good for the job and wich are their objectives.

just take a break and relax a bit.
you really are an influencial person in the Moondancers, if you hadn't trained me a seeker I doubt I would have ever stuck around. So anyway, find something fun to do. Like planting cactus weed on Tsuki!

Apparently Lucidians have strange mating rituals.
Eyod2005-10-13 15:58:04
is this the reasons druids run away from me?
