Can't wait for the fourth, but yeah, I know what you mean about being MADE to read a series. I'm stuck with Wheel of time until the damn thing ends, if it ever does.

I have the same problem. Be it good or bad, I need to finish any serie I start to read. Wich is a torture with unfinished series, or with N books series like WoT with each book being slightly more boring than the one before (I mean, since when is a good writter in need to write tons and tons of pages where _nothing_ happens but continuous hints of things that are going to happen things)

Song of Ice and Fire, on teh other hand, it's a pleasure to read and reread and make weird diagrams about who's who and with who is related in the story

And yes, Tyrion all the way, nerf Arya!

Hmm, they have a point. Tyrion is awesome. I'm still undecided who's cooler, but it'll be a close thing between Arya and him. Ooo, we could have polls, have a tournament between the characters, see who's best!

Arya is awesome, because she's an assassin temptress of the Many Faced God.

Eddard can't be loved - he got his head cut off in the first book, tarred, and piked. And he killed Sansa's direwolf.

Sansa can't be loved, she's a fuggin' priss. And she left her dad kill her direwolf.

Jon MUST be loved because he oozes raw sexual attraction, and is very pure and innocent.

Bran must be loved, too - because he makes me sad and I get really defensive about him, like this guy across the dorm from me. I don't want to sleep with him or be with him - but I get really, really defensive about him and over-protective.

Danny is allowed to be loved, because she's banging two guys like 50x her age. And she has pet dragons. Ownage.

Oh, and their mother is allowed to be loved. Why? Because she's walking undead. YES.

And Rob is allowed to be loved, too - he's got a direwolf head!

Well, I put my hold in for this book at my library for about half a year. And I agree with the Arya following. Only Arya and Danerys (spelling?) have got any real balls. Oh, and Tyrion, he just rocks because he...does.

I just bought Game of Crowns and Clash of Kings today. I'm bracing myself for about a week's time of isolated reading I'm hoping that it's as good as everyone says (which is literally EVERYONE)

I had heard of it, and saw a copy come back to the library, read it, and am completely and utterly addicted. It's awesome.
