Just a thing:
Does this book finally finished the serie? I mean, after 12 books building a situation that theoretically is the most important thing for humanity, better he writes it well enough so it's worth it

Because the most important thing Rand could do with the source, in "winter's heart", is utterly ignored until way past half Crossroads of Twilight. Very dissapointing.

I'm not sure if anyone picked up on this, but just about all of Crossroads of Twilight takes place a few hours before the end of book 9. At the end of each chapter the source is cleansed. Its like one giant "catch up"

I think we all not only picked up, but also commented on this, as well we complained loudly, and decried it as a huge waste of money/time/four years (two to write, two to write the following one).

Those of us on a Wheel of Time MUD always called him Robert "Dangling Plot-threads" Jordan for a reason.

not only so, the fact is ignored during the book, like if cleansing that wasn't something of notice.
I mean, it's like one day magnagora appears all shiny and untainted and we just go on with our lives, while magnagorans aren't sure if the city is tainted or not when they're seeing it themselves.
I bet the final battle will be 2 pages long. After taht, the characters will go about on their usual bussiness, wich is complaining, saying how stupid men are or complicated woman, and looking for undermeanings in the way smoke rises from a camfire. *cry*

Well I'm not sure how you would expect people to react before the event happened, not knowing its about to happen.

Women can't feel the male side, and the males are either allready affected by it, and would not know, or they are too new to tell the difference.

It would takes days if not weeks for these things to be noticed I would imagine.

Only males who can channel know anything about the source and most of them don't think its 'tainted.'
