Honest opinion is a pacifistic god isn't really suitable for anywhere at the moment :/

I was telling a certain someone this. I see Elcyion's role being more of a intellectual advisor wherever he chooses to go in the beginning until his sphere can be integrated somehow. Right now the way the world is he's like.. very thrown out of the weave. Lacostian pulled it off though so I could see things going well if people are willing to accept it.
Go Hartstone!
Now to watch the flames igni... it'll work out fine.

So much judging, before you have even seen me. Shame on you, to just conclude things like that.

The way you blasted Kalodan into the sky, I think you're the best divine right now

Elcyrion, if you know anything about the playerbase and these forums, we judge anything and everything without any actual facts to back us up all the time. Hell, in the IRC room, we were debating wether or not the grumpiness Isune had in regards to you too were wether or not she used to date one of you to make the other jealous and it didn't work which made her grow all bitter about the whole thing.
Now back to the judging, He isn't pacifistic per se (at least according to the help files) recognising the need for violence at times, which with a little bit of work, could work for Him joining any of the four organisations.

Bolded for importance.
Have we already forgotten the Book of Trill-whatsit? She did mention that Isune fancied Lacostian.

Dear, YOU were discussing that. The rest of us were discussing other things.
I -very- highly doubt Isune will go back to Celest, not with Her present attitude towards the brothers, regardless of where Elcyrion may end up. She's, ah.... not happy. She made some very... anti-Elcyrion comments.
Stop trying to sort everything out. It'll happen as it happens.
Kiarlea2005-10-16 01:45:01
As for Isune and Lacostian... well, I can almost guarantee that nothing's going to be happening there, at least for a while.
Isune is going to look after Her mortals for a while
irc...
Kiarlea is so protective of Isune, you'd think she was her mother.

Asarnil2005-10-16 02:22:51
Of course it was me discussing it, but a few people responded to it Kiarlea, and that makes it a discussion donchaknow. We were also discussing some other options in there too - but the only one I could remember was that so it was the one I mentioned in the post.

Joli joins an Order..??
Maybe so. Depends on where he decides to go. Joli needs something like this before it drives me, the player, insane.
Someone give Joli weed or something so she'll chill.

I hope He stays neutral, it'd be nice to have some non affiliated gods.
Would also save me from asking Roark to patron my place, if we had another neutral god.

You people watch too many soap-operas. There is no "Isune dated my brother but I wanted to steal her from him and keep her for myself" going in here I assure you. And no strange variant of mentioned construction either.
Kiarlea2005-10-16 07:28:03
No, but talking to Isune enlightened me to a few things. She called it feminine intuition.
Asarnil2005-10-16 11:21:01
Aww, but if it isn't out of a soap opera, what will happen to Timmy? HE IS STUCK DOWN A WELL!

OMG, Asarnil you completely and totally wruined my view of your charactor forever, whenever I see you charging at me ripping apart my flesh IC again I'm going to think of you sitting on a couch eating popcorn, stitching up a garment, and saying "NO!! Noo, look in the well! he's down there!"

I wonder if Elcyrion doesn't join a city, maybe he'll be helping with the RP to bring back the lost cities.
He seems like he'd fit in well with Hallifax (maybe, at least as an aeromancer patron), and having a god active would at least keep players happy and occupied so the goal of bringing back the cities doesn't seem like a futile cause. Like I suggested, there can be little teases and the like.
Of course, this is just speculation.

Xavius2005-10-16 14:57:50
From what I've read in the histories, Hallifax doesn't strike me as particularly pacific. I read more beating people into submission to do what was logical or beneficial for their city.
Suhnaye2005-10-16 16:02:33
Alright... After speaking with him for a while, I've decided that Elcyrion is now ranking WAY up their in my favorite divines... I am curious whats going to become of him though... If he stays neutral it would suit me just fine, seeing as it would be really nice to have a god us Rogues can feel happy about following without signing on for some cities political agenda...
Of course, this is all very early... And Viravain used to be all cudly and great too... But then she did a whole 180 thanks to Kethuru. So I doubt we've seen all we're going to see with this whole thing.... Just my oppinion of course.
