Honestly, I hope Elcyrion goes Hartstone. But a lot of us will be very angry if he tries the whole God of Peace thing.
Jairdan2005-10-16 17:12:19
he is a god of peace

Peace? In Lusternia?! *muahahahahah*
Suhnaye2005-10-16 20:17:27
Hey,
You people might knock peace in Lusternia, but think of it this way, people have fought wars for the sake of finding peace. The idea of fighting for peace is completely illogical, and a paradox in its own right, but that doesn't change the fact, that just because a being or a group believes in peace, and wishes to bring peace to their lives, does not mean that they will not be a force to be reckoned with at one point or another. I would be only slightly put off if He chose to patron Hartstone... Seeing as Hartstone is one of the more scholarly and neutral guilds of the Basin, it would make a little sense, though I still think I would prefer it if he did not patron any guild, thereby not gaining enemies by affiliation.

Meaning, its about as neutral as any guilds get

He isn't the GOd of peace. He is a God. Gods don't have realms like that here. They just are.

No one posted Elcyrion's description?
Unknown2005-10-16 21:09:08
Instead of just drawing conclusions from what you see on the forums and hear from others, maybe you should try actually -asking- him about his views on peace, war, conflict and how this affects the basin. Rather then following the amusing line of:
Peace - impossible - no place in basin.
Just an idea
Oh, and someone post this idiot's description.

He is a radiant immortal and is of curiously translucent appearance, His
manifestation consisting entirely of air given form. His corporeal shape causes
slight disturbances as He floats above the ground, allowing His sage, serene
appearance to be discernible. His body consists of air that is somehow thicker
and more solid than usual, causing ripples and distortions around Him and
forming a simultaneous image of solidity and translucence. Wispy strands of
hair float around the serene face, seemingly possessing a life of their own as
they drift in a non-existent breeze. His hair seems to radiate a faint light,
appearing as a different substance to the rest of His magnificent form. His
clothes resemble part of His manifestation; their translucent shape freely
billowing in the illusory wind that is the Erudite's constant companion. The
only parts of Him that is clearly visible are His vivid blue eyes, consisting
of pure light, that radiate a sense of profound knowledge and wisdom. He is
wearing billowing robes of glowing aether.

The Help Elcyrion scroll says that He understands the need to take up arms when there is a time for it. I'm going to guess (because I can't pop up in game and say "Oh, new God? Great! Hey, come over for kafeale and pie, and we'll have a chat, Lord Elcyrion" to find out... Or can I?) that those times are like when Celestia or Nil is being raided and it needs to be defended, or a city or commune is being raided, etc.
Edit: Neat description! Makes me think of flying. I'm getting my private pilot's license, hehe.

HELP ELCYRION seems to imply that the only time you need to take up arms is when the soulless are attacking. Because after the threat of the soulless Elcyrion realized that people need to stop bickering over unimportant things. Atleast thats the impression I got from the scroll.

More important than bickering? Blasphemy! This is Lusternia, after all

I'm all about joining an order where I don't have to tell people to "simmer down" every 10 minutes. It'd be such a new concept compared to GT and CT..
Celest really doesn't need another peaceful god, plus I don't think him and Hajamin get along very well. Not like Lacostian and Haja get along well either.. but still..
