From the shops I've seen, Keg pricing is downright silly, so I'm no longer afraid for my business.

Crowns Enchanted crowns hold up to 80 charges.
Statues Enchant a statue and affix runes onto it.
Paintings Create enchanted doorways between two paintings.

Just curious as to why being able to enchant cubes isn't after crowns? Isn't that a bit more logical since a cube is basically just a lot of charges rolled into one container. If someone can do all enchantments on every peice of jewelry they should be able to enchant the cubes.

I don't mind paying 220 for my potions instead of 150, in return of them being so readily available. Hell, I'd pay 400 per health vial!

Did I express my extraordinarily glee about kegs and cubes already? Briliant!

I have to agree- they are a welcome addition.
Sylphas2005-10-19 07:34:03
150? Psh, people default to 200 usually without me even saying anything.

And yes, you'll pay that, but it means if someone is around, you'll buy from them instead, which is how it should be.
Alger2005-10-19 08:17:03
But the point is you people are never around. wink.gif

Also you underestimate how much effort it takes to ask on market. hehe

Anyway for me I price 100 gold above average price of a refill. I think that's fair for everyone involved.

Forging: I know someone who got over 200cr for his work already, while still selling normal stuff with profits. And he didn't have to buy an artifact too.

Not to mention forging is fun, both for designing and actual forging.

I have been a forger forever and I find that very hard to believe. And Forging is not fun. dry.gif

As for kegs and cubes, they are great. No more begging and whining on Market! clap_1.gif

Yea, i dont even ask how much for refill. I ask only if i need health realy bad and dont have much gold.

And i will be selling refills in my shop with higher prices, if someone is to lazy/cant find alchemist will pay for it. More shops will be have kegs, prices go down.

It's just silly that people can carry several kegs on them. I'd like to see some kind of a weight limit imposed for all items.

Don't hurt me.

Erk, PLLLEEEEEAAAASSSE NO *begs gods*

wieght limits will discourage people buying things, or at least will discourage that I buy things because I can't carry them all.
Iridiel2005-10-19 15:20:18
Problem is, in this game 90% of us are homeless and need to carry all our belongings on us. It's not like those muds where you have your own coffer to leave the extra treasure or change of clothes, and a friendly bank in each city that never was stolen.

So, if I want to carry my bashing set of clothing, but also, my fancy one for chatting in the forest, and also, the one for weddings and important social events, not to talk about vials, herbs, jewelry, food and other stuff, and all those silly things we carry on us.

Now add to this I was a warrior and my default bashing set weighted tons, but I had also to carry on me (for RP purposes) another more formal clothing.

We wouldn't go bashing, we would be all day sitting at the pool over our bags, because we wouldn't be able to carry so much weight. Or pay for a manse or a shop that are stolen quite easily it seems. We wouldn't need kegs if there was a limit on weight as we wouldn't be able to move around, bash and be prepared to RP tongue.gif

There was always someone around 3/4 of the time in Glomdoring it was just whether or not that person felt the urge to refill....
