Need a Merloch on that list!

You ought to focus on one organization at a time, Phred, in order make things much easier. First publish one on famous Magnagorans (Daevos, Ixion, Chade, Kaervas, ect.), then one on Celest (Aesyra, Rhysus, ect.), and so on and so forth. After that you can just have 'The Big Book of Baddies', with all the assholes like me, Jack, and Visaeris in it.

This is Tully's book afterall, who cares if he includes whatshisname or whatsherface. They could be people he have talked to, killed him, helped him, etc. You really don't need to start degrading people like that.
I agree! And what did Richter do, besides buy a load of credits? Pft. See how lame that is? Tully's book. You don't like the Lusternian twins, that's fine, but keep it off of here. Hee.
I think Gruhk should get a mention, being the first ever Titan.

Yeah!
Erion -
This rape-obsessed maniacs claim to fame is that he led a small vanguard of Celestians - including the Prince at the time, Rhysus Saros - to the realm of Ethereal, where numerous fae were killed and fed to Gorgulu, a Demon Lord of Nil. Despite protestations that he was misguided, he was exiled and eventually ended up in Magnagora, from whence he ruined Guido and Jack's plans to raise the Glomdoring and became prime member of his own effort. He joined Glomdoring, yet ascended to no leadership spots, as he, Guido, Richter and Jack had planned.
Guido -
This formerly fuzzy, cute, eight-foot-tall bear is best known for his absolutely insane public posts, his wish to destroy reality and the fact he was once tied to the Megalith by an undead loboshigaru and kept there for the sordid amusement of Magnagoran citizens. He briefly reigned supreme over "The Flagg Brood", the second coming of the Disciples of Crow, and formed a diabolical plan to raise Glomdoring, destroy the Seals holding back Kethuru and destroy the Basin as we know it. However he was thwarted by Erion and Bricriu, and attempted to cause civil war among the Demon Lords, leading to his outcasting from the city of Magnagora. He committed suicide shortly thereafter. Best Guido quotes:
"Well, plotting the downfall of creation has been moved down on my 'thing-to-do' list. I no longer possess the means or will to do it. Oh, and my den is getting rather messy."
"I figure i'd have a good thirty seconds to manifest my will upon reality before I died of suffocation in the horrible pits of the Void."
"Hail Kethuru, for only from Him can true power be achieved; Hail Magnora, Mistress of the Void; and Hail Glomdoring! F'ai Glomdoring!"
Jack -
The brother of Guido, Jack is a far more quiet individual, yet just as insane as his sibling. He funded the majority of 500K gold that led to the creation of "The Flagg Brood", the second coming of the Disciples of Crow, in which he, Guido, Richter and Erion reigned over a veritable throng of Hartstone, Geomancer, Nihilist and Moondancers, all of whom believed in the resurrection of Glomdoring. Jack betrayed Magnagora when Guido was cast out, attempting to kill Erion: he betrayed Celest shortly thereafter, running to join the fledgling commune of Glomdoring: he betrayed Glomdoring, attacked the King (or Queen. Hi Et!) of Night, and went to join the Celestines once more, who were the final ones to suffer his betrayl. Of the time of writing he is guildless, penniless, and begging on the streets of Magnagora, and enemied to roughly three-quarters of the Basin.
Visaeris -
If Superman is the ubermench, Visaeris is the uberprick.

Try to add Veonira to your list.

I still think you're all missing the point of the book being from Tully's point of view, not the Basin's. Why doesn't someone else write one too, if Tully is forgetting so many oh-so-important people?

-Raezon's Voice (well, one of three) for 20 years

Anyone stop to think we all are putting alot of pressure on little old Tully? He might as well include every citizen of the basin while were at it. After all, he is just a simple little dwarf janitor. Boyo.

Oy vey and Ay-yi-yi...my head! I can't believe how much attention this is getting!
Gregori, you'll be in the book. I think the problem was Tully and you haven't had any conversation--and I can forget about you since you must have a cloaking gem or something. Yes, you did kill me. I should note that since that kept me from trying to sweep during battles. Haven't seen your wife around lately either.
(I knew Ceres because she killed me and kept screaming "you drained astral". When I tried to apologize, it was another "you drained astral". Keep in mind some people may not like their entries)
Richter--Yuniko and Yukari I know from just having Tully hang around Magnagora. I know that they have a really weird manse and like sipping love potions on their couch. I also was in the middle of a lover's spat. The Yuyus have to be in the book.
I'm gonna prioritize and sort through the list. It's harder to write about people I haven't interacted with. You guys have noted that there are inactive famous people that I don't know. I'll try to at least read the public news, and find famous people. I doubt I could let Gwylifar go, for instance. I'll take a close look at the news and events posts.
Guido--I don't think organizations are the best way to go, especially as people move around a lot. I think an alphabetical ordered book is the best way to do it. I will ask about you. Who knows, maybe I could have some god summon your spirit or zombie and interview that.
Keep in mind this is still going to be subjective, it's gotta have style. Lusternia needs its own Studs Terkel, Tom Wolfe, Truman Capote, Mark Twain, Hunter S. Thompson, etc. We need to have writers with their own personality and style.
Only thing--this might take me longer. I've got some personal stuff to take care of over the next few weeks, and I think I'm going to get to contribute sidebars to Gary Gygax's Cosmos Builder, which I want to put a priority on--sorry, writing for that takes precidence. But I definately want to get this done by Thanksgiving, if not sooner.

quite a few names missed out from the Mag circuits, but that's understandable... pity you never met Valek, Tully, he would have made an interesting entry. Although he was more infamous, rather than famous.
Oh hey, you forgot Geb... Murphy...
Missed out Narsrim too

I don't know, I think it's an alright idea, but I think it should either be limited to the most well known people, or tons of people.

I'll figure it out.
I'm probably only going to start with 2 dozen entries (not counting the gods) and then keep expanding it. Remember, books in this world can be re-written.
If you want to be in the book, you should get to know Tully.
And hopefully others will do books from their perspectives. I don't want to be the SOLE history writer of the realms.

He said from Tully's point of view - I'd never expect anything to be said about Erion, as Erion's long before Tully, and all he'd say about Kalo is that he's a honey cake addicted hartstone who hates dwarves and taint.

There's more to Kalo than that?
Seriously though, it's a great idea. As long as there's an entry on me.
