oh and add sprint to that list.
Narsrim2005-10-17 07:15:46
Dream bodies cannot follow off equilibrium, I believe.
Thorgal2005-10-17 07:16:05
I sprinted to lose Elryn, and moved the moment he damaged me, it did not break the link, or he can just walk faster than I can sprint while predicting exactly where I go.

well you can tumble cant you? or ohmy.gif find a tree and climb up
Unknown2005-10-17 07:18:24
Neither waiting for them to do something, nor sprinting are good strategies.
Thorgal2005-10-17 07:18:38
Oh yeah, so I tumble to the east, what stops them from moving east as well and relinking? And seriously Munsia, dreamweavers follow you into the trees with their link.
Munsia2005-10-17 07:19:10

And seriously thorgal they cant exist in the trees. They stay linked on the ground (if that wasnt fixed) but its a bug
Unknown2005-10-17 07:20:21
Actually, shielding does do something. Just not make you invulnerable.
Thorgal2005-10-17 07:20:30
They follow their linked target into the censor.gif trees, Munsia.
Munsia2005-10-17 07:20:46
Last I knew it only stopped slumber

And this is just from a Faeling, you'd stand no chance against a dreamweaving Mugwump whatsoever. They can easily kill you without you being able to shield yourself against their attacks, nor harm them.

As to running, rubbish.. dreamweavers can link themself to you in whatever form you are, and there's nothing you can do to lose them, they follow you into the trees and the skies. At least you can run from a warrior, you can't run from a dreamweaver.

There is an extremely simple defence against link...

THEY DO!

Check Ethelon's log, evidence. Apparently you know as much about your own skills than about anyone else's: nothing.
Munsia2005-10-17 07:25:18
Elryn says some think its a bug so nyah tongue.gif
Thorgal2005-10-17 07:28:05
Will you people ignore any point against you unless you get it shoved down your throats?

Kindergarden hour is over, please choke in it.
Unknown2005-10-17 07:30:58
Dreamweavers are deadly if you don't know what to do and aren't prepared.

You are the person who defends slit throat/slickness in one attack and then turns around and whines about one of the most difficult instant kills. Do you really expect anyone to take you seriously?

It's not one of the most difficult, I don't think. Just not as easy as most make out.
