Really low of you to take advantage of this change Narsrim when you yourself want it changed also. Considering the fact you can have a coven in Serenwilde set up for resurgem, this is practically a party for you, like they made this change just so you can kill till your heart is content.

Ethelon, you took advantage of Serpent not dropping when you attacked people. You swore up and down at the time that you were doing nothing wrong so I don't see what your comment is based upon as you don't practice what you preach.
Furthermore, I think my examples illustrate how ridiculous it is. I advocate change and to do so, I'm proving my point. I remember you doing something similar concerning grace in Faethorn so...
And I don't have a Coven setup to Resurgem me. I don't need it.

That's not very fair, Ethelon. It's not a bug or an exploit of any kind, so 'taking advantage' of the way a skill is meant to work is not something you can really complain about.
Also, any Ecologist Druid can do the same risk free killing, from either side.

read closer Munsia, I said "considering the fact HE CAN"

For every Glomdoring concerned, Viravain already made an appearance and told me to get the hell out of her forest or else. You are safe again - for now.

.... Hey, Narsrim, try to recall WHO told me about that trick? Ohhh...you did! I learned that from you, though you told me not to use it to often because you didn't want it nerfed. You also forget I used it during those what...two weeks as a paladin? I love how your arguments to defend yourself always try to point out other peoples wrongs which have nothing at all to do with the argument.

Seren use to be only able to flow in ethereal forest and glomdoring only in tainted forest.
Now seren can flow from tainted to tainted and Glomdoring from ethereal to ethereal type forest

Changes are always closely watched for this reason. Frustration at less than stellar tactics, while obviously upsetting, should not drive you to be rude on the forums. Try to keep your emotions in check, if only so the proper admin will be able to stand to read the posts on the subject. A cool head will get you farther than a heated tongue.
Unless you're a dragon.

Plus it's fine Glomdorings, Viravain's watching over you, and she tells Nars to shoo if he starts pwning your little forest.
I am however slightly conserned about random bits of Hartstone/blacktalon demenses left over in neutral areas, as they can now be used to assult the forests themselves. Druids normally forest places so they have security/racial regen advantages, now they're going to have to think "am I screwing up the security of my commune doing this?" When in reality there is no way to stop it all.
We of the Communes are just going to need to accept that there is practically no way to keep people out of our territory, and we just need to deal with them once they get in and start harming things

Formerly, a Moondancer/Hartstone could *only* flow in a natural forest. A Shadowdancer/Blacktalon could *only* flow in an infested forest.
Currently, anyone can flow in either. The only restriction is you must from from the same type to the same type so pure->pure or infested->infested.

It's also not very fair to come here and admit something isn't right, but then continue to engage in said behavior anyway, under the guise of "proving your point."
We get it, Narsrim. Really.

I told you that I used it to bash on Astral, which was fine because as you even confirmed later it was was not a bug... it was a goof design flaw.
However, I never used it in combat. In fact, I asked you not to use it in combat because I saw some serious potential to be abused.
And I wasn't saying what you did was "wrong," I was simply pointing out that you like to accuse people of X act when you have performed X act in the fact.
Viravain2005-10-18 03:46:47
I don't particularly understand using (or allegedly abusing) something if you think it's not fair, but I suppose that is why people tend to quote, 'Do what I say, not what I do'.
Players should have fun in what they do, but remember, the other people playing are looking for the exact same thing. You can be a considerable foe without being one of those dastardly 'griefers' you all seem so against.

I didn't force you or in any way make you flow to me outside of Glomdoring, stand in a tainted forest and attack me, and slowly but surely die (when at ANY point, you could have flowed back to home). You declared me, you flowed, you attacked, you died. You are by far responsible for your death. If anything, I simply used my powerful talent to be a pest and lured you out; however, I the mistake was your own.
Plus, I said I don't like it. I'd love for it to be changed back.

Guess you are right, bashing guards is the same as bashing Astral...ohhh, wait, you will deny that now I'm sure since I'm not in the "circle of trust"
