Like I said in my message, Narsrim. We're just doing it to prove a point to the admins, of course. I hear it's fact--if you don't do it, they won't change it.Â

Sorry to disappoint you, but forcing a feature to the point it could be considered abusive just to get it changed is not going to win you brownie points.

I'm glad you know better than Viravain whose post you read before posting that, Shayle.

Listen, I was willing to say that I was wrong and even declare that I would not use said tactic for now until it was reviewed if only because the concerns that *you* and others presented here were by all accounts valid imo.
After such, you fire back with the same tactics. I'd really like you to therefore explain such. You basically condescended and downed me and then turned around to do the EXACT SAME THING. I dunno, but for someone who had the "higher moral ground," I'd say you fell to the bottom quick like.

Narsrim, after you said such, you went to Ethereal Glomdoring and did it again, except using Wisp..when I asked why you were doing it, you said that you didn't see it as wrong since it wasn't on prime and it wasn't flowing. This fight was on Faethorn, not Prime... your people did not have to enter and fight, while the crap you pulled in our Commune forced us to respond.... HUGE DIFFERENCE.

I love it. After being creamed on this thread by people for using flow (while not actually attacking people), these same people are now using it to kill people.

Weren't most of the objections that it was being used in Glomdoring proper to kill those going around their daily business, as well as the use of it to lure folk into areas they have to pray? This was Faethorn. Both sides were using it in Faethorn. It's a conflict zone, combat happens, people there should expect to be attacked and possibly die.
There's a slight difference between using the change as it was intended in force-forested areas, and using it to harass those doing daily things in their home. To me at least.
Narsrim2005-10-19 00:39:30
My objection was with flow primarily.
Munsia2005-10-19 00:45:24
Faethorn should be peaced.. or something
Munsia2005-10-19 00:46:12
only when its neutral though
Narsrim2005-10-19 01:11:30
Off topic, I was wondering if a member from Glomdoring could comment on why the Commune is backing the murder of the Faethorn knights. They are currently loyal to *gasp* Queen Maeve who is neutral (for now, I'm going to have little chat with her).
Basically, I read this as an utter failure for the Shadowdancers. Faethorn was changed so they didn't "kill Fae" for a reason. However, they are still killing Fae... wtf

Munsia just... don't get into it. So many people wanted faethorn changed, still want it changed, want it to stay as-is. meh so I won't get into that.
Wisp/Flow though, in Faethorn if you've got a Hartstone demense people can use it to flow into the Etherwilde *shudder* and vise-versa (not like we'd let taint in Faethorn to use it to flow into the Etherglom though. Poor knights need to put up with enough already). I hope that never happens, looks like people are just using it to flow in, kill someone and run for now, not to set up a concentrated raid.

I wonder if Maeve is going to buy that, heh. I do plan on asking her if only to stir the proverbial cauldron.
Ethelon2005-10-19 04:12:52
I have actually tried getting unenemied, wasted alot of gold to and got amnety or whatever... I plan to try again once I have the gold saved up.
Unknown2005-10-22 14:53:36
I don't understand why some of you people who hole credits up don't throw a quick hundred in to get Amnesty in Influence (It's actually just Expert I think) and save yourself the gold. Slightly off topic though.
Murphy2005-10-22 15:15:49
i tried to bash maeve, seems she is totally invincible which annoys me.
And those fae knights are annoying with that damn web, i kill them on sight. I have no bound to the fae, same as I never had binds to the demonlords. I only really go up to faethorn to give serenwilde a smacking every now and then when its even numbers on both sides

The Commune is not backing it. Stop making such idiotic statements, please.

Lady Liseara has stated before that Amnesty is -not- avalible in Faethorn. So you need to pay up, or Maeve won't even consider you.
Edit:the gold required was reduced, back when all those other changes were put in to make it more fair for Glomdoring. so I don't think anyone's got a right to complain about it. If you've slaughtered fae for years, expect to pay through the nose. If not, then you've got nothing to worry about.
Wisp/Flow Changes: Yup, look at that, we've got a new one, is anyone happy? most likely only mag. Glom/Seren hate this, Mag loves it, and Celest doesn't care cause it doesn't effect them.

That's pretty lame. What the hell do Fae need with gold anyway?
I guess it is an incentive not to kill them though and think people can get away with it.
Unknown2005-10-23 05:48:43
Yes, maybe it's incentive not to "bash" them, as they are so closely tied to, at least one, if not both the communes. Maybe it has to do with the influencing system though. I know Maeve is extremely easy to influence, perhaps she would be extremely easy to get amnesty from as well? and as such without needing the gold people could kill/get amnesty/kill and so forth
