I'm trying to avoid the whole 'lets lynch to end the day' thing that vix and sylphas did last time, is all. A lot of us seem to forget about claiming.
Cwin2005-10-31 13:26:29
I'm sticking to my guns on Revan, if only to make sure we keep him in memory.

We have 3 people that havn't voted yet, and all of them combined will create a lynch. By how it's the ballot seems to sound, it might be best to put two votes on Revan and 1 vote on Quid to bring roll claims from both. After that, it'll come down to who worries us more.

Revan2005-10-31 17:36:24
Hey Iridiel, that's a great description of yourself.
Iridiel2005-10-31 17:40:49
I wouldn't kill a sheep unless I knew it was taintscum. And I am not arrogant, I just point at things in your argumentation that make me doubt your good intent.

Ibby, you should force the people who are still not voting to vote or be replaced smile.gif We need a voting deadline every day, just so things actually happen. Too large a percent of the game is still unvoting sad.gif
Cwin2005-11-01 15:57:41
We can't do that. All it'll do is make people panicy if they have to vote just to play. So long as people are active then there's no reason to just up and replace them. Besides, OOG actions like Replacements and Modkills realy do ugly things to the game as a whole, so keeping it to a minimum is best. It's up to us to get the people active and voting.

To contradict that, however, I WILL say that you nonvoters realy need to vote for SOMETHING. If you realy do feel that NoLynch is best, then vote for that. If you're looking for a sure bet that someone is guilty/innocent then you'll be waiting until the deadline: We'll never be sure until it's over.
Xenthos2005-11-01 17:26:01
Meh. I was hoping for more information, but it's not looking likely unless those of us on standby actually move off our duffs. I guess I'll vote: Quidgyboo for a claim. This means NOBODY ELSE VOTE FOR HIM until he does claim. If you want to try prodding Revan, vote for him- else, give Laneth a little time to come clean.
Revan2005-11-01 17:30:27
Hey, go prod Iridiel. SHe's much more suspicious than little old me.
Xenthos2005-11-01 17:33:36
Well, you're the second-most voted for, which is why I mentioned you. It has nothing to do with being more or less suspicious, just that you're closer to claim-stage if anyone's curious in pushing the issue.
Unknown2005-11-01 18:31:37
The deadline is less than 24 hours away. If, and only if discussion picks up will it be extended.
Xenthos2005-11-01 18:38:18
Laneth's been active enough that he should claim long before then. Hopefully.
Sylphas2005-11-01 18:44:47
I'm going to Vote: Revan, to push a claim. At this point I'd probably vote for Laneth, but I'm not going to get someone lynched without a claim. I'm not that stupid twice.

Although by my count, it's now 3 each for Revan and Laneth, not 4, Xenthos. Did I miscount?
Xenthos2005-11-01 18:47:55
Laneth said if he got one more vote, he'd claim. So I went for it.
Cwin2005-11-01 19:07:09
Vix also voted for Quid, so it's 4 there. DEFINATLY no one vote for him.
Unknown2005-11-01 21:42:57
vote count

Revan- 3 (Iridiel, Cwin, Sylphas)
Iridiel- 1 (Revan)
Laneth- 4 (Shorlen, Tsuki, Vix, Xenthos)

Not voting (1): Laneth

5 to lynch.

Well then, I guess it's time for me to claim.

I am Queen Maeve and my role is as a redirector. I can choose one person each night and move their night choice to someone else of my choosing. I do have information to prove this, but it would mean that the identity of a scryer would be made public, so I will leave that decision up to the rest of you.
Xenthos2005-11-01 22:31:25
Thanks. I'm now going to unvote: Laneth and vote: revan.

Wait, let me make sure I understand this. Your claim is that you can: pick someone, get told if they have a night action, get told what their night action is if they have one, and redirect that night action? unsure.gif

Not that Queen Maeve couldn't be incredibly nifty like that, but it sounds like far too much in the way of abilities. For now, my vote's staying where it is.

blink.gif You're right, I had read it as "he is able to redirect without knowing the actual thing he is changing," but how would he know a scrier then?
