Oh I don't really care at this stage. It might be worth noting though that I said I didn't want people to bandwagon just because I am random voting lurkers.
Xenthos2005-10-21 04:30:23
I'm tempted to vote for Quidgyboo just for killing the conversation. Grr... c'mon, someone wants to speak. I know you do.
Unknown2005-10-21 04:38:25
How did I kill the conversation? I started the damn conversation, it's mine...MINE!
Kiarlea2005-10-21 06:55:25
You broke it. Nobody wants to talk anymore.
Unknown2005-10-21 07:04:29
They fear my intelligence...right?
Sylphas2005-10-21 07:14:30
I'm going to vote Tsuki for now. She's first on the list, and I didn't feel like getting out my dice to pick at random.
This day is worthless unless we get someone to claim or manage to get lucky and lynch a scumbag. Even if we end up voting no lynch, if people have claimed, we know more than we did, and come out ahead.

I'm here, I'm here! Not lurking! Let's give folks a chance to engage in the unfamiliar activity of sleeping for a day or two if they've been exhausted without jumping on them for not speaking immediately, eh?
Alright, it always seems to be a bad idea to voice a number of thoughts all at once, but pffbt. Doing it anyway, take it how you will.
First ... no one's died. That in itself is interesting to me, as I'm now wondering why no one died. Don't have much of an answer to that other than a feeling that this time around we have some strange roles and unknown opponents. Based on who I am and what little I know from that, I also have the speculation that at least some of us have alliances with certain areas/races ... but how those different areas/races might work with or against each other is a mystery.
I find it highly suspicious that a few of you seem to be calling for a scrier to reveal themselves, based on nothing other than the assumption that we have a guardian around. So the first person to claim to be a scrier is supposed to be trusted, with no evidence, by a guardian? Good way to tie up a guardian in protecting someone, including someone who's false. Even if a scrier has and voices proof of who they are by revealing who someone else is and that other person confirms it, they could easily either be working together for some other purpose or, even at best, they'd then making more than one person vulnerable by having their identity known. Does not sound like a good idea to me, though you're certainly welcome to debate it further and explain why my concerns are somehow invalid. Debate it well enough, and you may even convince me. Also, I'm not proposing a scrier remain silent forever ... just wait until a significant amount of evidence is gathered to be able to do something with.
Last thought for now, and it's one that has the highest probability of making people suspicious of me. Meh. Yes, in past games it's been best to have a lynch during the day, for many reasons that have been stated and explained before. I've been one of the vocal supporters of that idea, in fact. However, in past games we've known more of what we've been dealing with. This time that seems to have changed, and I'm no longer certain that the past policy remains valid. Also, past attempts at carrying out that policy (which tended to result in killing good people instead of bad) have shaken my faith a bit even in the face of the policy's logical support. For that reason, I'm holding off on voting for now. The main reason to vote/lynch seems to be to learn something by what's said. If everyone talks enough, we still have a chance to learn or gain suspicions.
Alright, there ya go. Too many thoughts and I'm voicing them too much. Fire away.

Personally, I am vote no lynch mostly because well, nothing has happened, nobody has died, and it's not my habit to go about frying people in hot oil.
On the other hand, FoS Tsuki, he answered very fast with a very long post that wanted to confuse us all, and must have had prepared beforehand. That, or he's a lucidian.

She's intelligent, and she plays this game often. I don't find the post that suspicious, personally, and just about all she said is basic common sense.

Just to warn everyone - I'm going to be helping run an amazingly awesome LARP at a nearby collage this weekend . I will be gone from about 3:30pmEST today until very late sunday night. Ibby knows, and has said that it is alright since I told her. I'll try to log on from a computer lab, or a friend's house, but chances aren't terribly likely.
Iridiel2005-10-21 10:15:11
Ok, let's see, then no FoS yet. remove FoS on Tsuki.
And still no lynch.
Let's see who dies tonight, if any. Maybe we wake up tomorrow to find the city coffers empty and one less player

Revan2005-10-21 12:21:25
Tsuki, the idea is this: If a scrier has an enemy revealed and no one's died yet, it's the most intelligent choice for him to step forward. Why? Because a) if he's a true scrier, we can go at a faster pace. we can have a guardian constantly protecting him/her. c) If the scrier prooves false? Lynch him/her. It's not that hard
Anyway, I'm going to vote no lynch for now as I'm uncertain on many things at this point in time

I still don't like the scryer to show up, but Revan makes sense. I KNEW Nars was Tainted because "I" was the scryer. Now that I think about it, if I had spoken out then the protectors (which we had a full one and a scry/protector) would've kept me alive. It would've made things ALOT easier.
Whoever is the scryer, don't call today, but call soon. That's my gut calling.
Also another thing my gut is telling me: Something is very wrong here.
unFoS: Shorlen vote: nolynch

unvote no lynch, vote:Revan
And you'll ask, why?
Because he seems really interested in knowing who's the scryer by pointing how clever would taht he rolecalled, so in the best of cases we get a protector less and scum has one more chance to kill.
And then, he goes and says no lynching, wich is just helping the scumbags, as they're the ones who will be rightfully lynched in the end.

hmm...i'll VOTE:ETANRU cause Ibaesha suggested it.
Unknown2005-10-21 17:11:42
You cannot vote people not playing. Only I can. And voting Etanru wasn't the suggestion.
Xenthos2005-10-21 17:11:49
You do realize you just voted for someone who isn't playing, right?
