Belated death post.
BOOOO! You're going to ruin the party!

On a tangent, does this mean we can eat all the food and such from the party? I'm hungry.
I'm not sure if Quidgy is suspicious, or if he just likes randomly voting a lot. Revan, I've stated my reasons. They're a bit weak, but there anyway. Also suspicious of Vix, for pushing me to vote before he could claim. Also, I'm suspicious, of course, for doing it, but I'll be damned if I'm going to vote for myself.
FoS: Quidgy, Vix

Iridiel, I voted for you because your lack of intelligence and ability to read between lines appals me. You oh-so-quickly accused me last day because you couldn't understand the wit and intelligence of my plans. Even if you did find flaw in then, instead of choosing to perhaps discuss an alteration of said plan, you immediately, and without hesitation pointed the "VOTE" finger at me. Why, I ask? So quick to rid the game of a thinker, eh? I find your extreme suspicion, lack of ability to think, lightning fast "accuse" finger, and overall personality to be suspicious in and of itself.
Also, to Sylphas, tell me why someone who wishes to put a foot down and get some thinking done should be viewed as tainted? I would think that the ability to plan and trap our tainted foes would be well hosted, yet I see naught but accusations from you both. "Hey, Revan thinks too much and shows intelligence which could severely hinder the tainted. Lets kill him!" Yes, such admirable, honorable and sure-witted folk we have among us...
I'd also like to add, for those of us who are slower, that if you're going to vote for the "Well, his reason for lynching was bad.." reason, then I'm afraid most of us are guilty and should thusly hang ourselves for provocating such a merciless, horrible sin.

Mmmm definitly I think Revan thinks so much of himself he must be one of the scumbags. He might even by the one who killed Kiarlea because she was popular at parties while he must stay in his library studying, alone and forgotten by everybody. Jealousy!

Hubris is naught but a minor flaw, dear Iridiel. Would that I could slay our tainted foes with one fell swoop, but alas, I lack the means. However, I use my mind, as such that the gods chose to grace me with. I would hate to see it squandered because of a fool's suspicion. Pray, think your choice through, dear, I would hate to look upon the corpse of an innocent girl. I would instead smile at such a corpse tainted.

Taint came here due to "science" and "let's try, there's no danger over there". Unescrupulous scientists who only worried about reason caused this problem we're having now...
So excuse me if I don't trust your reasoned answers and see them as flawed and helping those we're sworn to defeat. For who would be happier than a scryer had been discovered? Those who know there will be one more to kill or one less protector to help the other innocents.

Here's the quick link to the description of the Cult (Click here), though Cwin basically already explained what it says there. (That Roles page could really have been put together better to not hide things as much.) From what it sounds like in the death post, she could have recruited or killed during the night? Hypothesizing, she either recruited someone during night 1 or tried to kill someone and was blocked. It makes more sense that she would've recruited, so there's 1 cult member. As stated, kills are the last thing that happens during the night, so she either died because we have other scum (mafia) roles out there that she tried to recruit and died doing so (which means no extra cult members), or she recruited someone else (for a total of 2 cult members) and died to a scum/mafia or serial killer or vigilante. Worst case, then, we have 2 scum/cult and at least 1 (though likely more than 1) scum/mafia. Best case, we have 1 scum/cult and no scum/mafia. I doubt we have the best case, as that'd be far too unbalanced.
Backtracking more, ignoring the instinctive to Revan for talking during the night, why do we "suck" for voting against Tsaephai? You voted against him too And insofaras voting order, whether y'all believe this or not and whether it matters or not for you, I'd decided to go vote against Tsaephai before seeing Quidgy's post/vote doing the same. Took me over 10 minutes finding my lil' sheep, and I couldn't jump forward like that without my lil' sheep.
Speaking of Tsaephai, though, do we have an unflavoured description of a "post-restrictor" besides being innocent?
There's never been a good reason for the first day's lynch, and we've always (99.9% of the time, at least, it feels like. Not having the time to go search for and look through the past games at the moment.) lynched an innocent. That was why I started out voting no lynch on day 1, even though doing so gets very little done. Then I let myself get swayed by the logic of needing to do something with the theory of lynches being our only weapon against scum (which I did always support in the past anyway, so it wasn't too much to fall back in that rut of thinking), and posts of others (Kia and Quidgy) supporting such (especially Kia's. Bah, I let myself be swayed by the cult leader's posts ). Looking back on that now, it gives me the suspicion they were working together, so FoS Quidgyboo as being a possible cult member, recruited the first night.
Beyond that, from reading various posts I'm thinking it's possible that some of the rest of you have light post-restrictions. From last game experience, post-restrictions tying you in with your character might not be bad/scummy, so I'm not pointing fingers. Just saying I've noticed, which'll probably get me lynched or targetted. On that note, I direct you to the addition to my signature of my Mafia rules

So, Laneth, Tsuki, and Revan are the ones I'm most worried about right now, especially given their lynching posts. Granted, poor Globglob did call it upon himself with his words, and the other people who lynched him, except for Kiarlea, didn't really give any good reason for it...

Well, I went through the posts as best I could (which means not too well). I'm hoping that I can finaly get something good out of all this.
It gave me a few gut feelings, at least. Firstly, Revan, you're something, and if it's not the protector, I'm scared of you. I felt the same way for Bau, though, and he turned out to BE a protector. Thus I'm not voting for you, but I AM FoS Revan.
Another is the reason why it's a FoS and not a vote: we're not in a good situation here. I'll be honest, the last night unnerved me. Dealing with a few scum and perhaps a crasy SK is one thing. Having a cult, the scum, a possible SK, and who knows what else makes me think we're in a bad guy sandwich: at one point all of the good guys could be dead and all that's left are evil factions trying ot off each other.
The point? I don't want to go voting for someone just to hear:
"Congradulations, you just lynched your Protector"
Seeing what the scum did last game didn't help either.
Ok, only the first bit was gut. The rest is rant/panic. Sorry all.

I'll respond to the posts about me tomorrow from work, but for now, I want to Vote Sylphas and FoS Vix. Am I the only one who is peeved that Tsae was killed without being allowed a claim? Sylphas wacked on the final vote, which Vix pushed him to do. Could just be me being a bit angry about it, but it seems suss to me.
DO NOT LYNCH PEOPLE BEFORE THEY GET A CHANCE TO CLAIM please.

I didn't like that she didn't get to claim. In truth, I didn't like that she was voted on to begin with. However, Sylphas was far from the only one to blame for that: once a bandwagon starts it tends to work fast, and I bet no one would believe that a 'post-restrictor' exists in any case.
Vix was somewhat pushy on that last vote I agree though.

I'd like to start by saying that whoever is roleblocking or protecting is doing an excellent job. Keep up the good work.
As to what next... I have no clue. The vote count says none of you do either. I'm going to start with a FOS on Shadow, due to the "Out of sight, out of mind" syndrome. Her last post was three days ago.

Though I guess the day ended 2.5 days ago, so it makes sense. Anyways, the FOS stands, just as a gentle prod to say something.

Replacement time?
My vote stands, but I'm going to FoS: Revan. Iridel is new to such intrigues, and may be speaking a little rashly, but your words reek of one plotting something neferious. At least, I think so.
Unknown2005-10-26 19:02:50
If she doesn't post within 36 hours of the start of day, I will send a prod. Not time to replace yet.
Cwin2005-10-26 19:09:00
Hey Rhayni. If it doesn't cause too much trouble, could a way be made to track the FoSes? Maybe something simple like
:People under FoS: (him) (her) (that other guy)
This day there's not alot of votes, but a good many FoS throwing and it'll help focus the debate.

FOS Counts? Sure... But if you want them counted, they have to be bolded, just like votes. I'll go back and do one now.

I know.. I'm trying.. but all claiming of who looks suspecious and who not is not really leading anywhere.
I still say we should all just claim, might get all non tainted killed or might make us win. I'd be for taking the risk really. All this accusing without any proof other than 'He made a spelling mistake! I think the way he phrases things is fishy!' doesn't seem to get us anywhere.
