The difference being that there is no way to switch instantly from a geo tainted/aqua flooded location to any taint/water location, as there used to be with flow and forest. On the same plane that is.

There's also no lich-like skill we have, or any way we can...I dunno im sure Celest gets something interesting.

Nope, druids get a unstoppable one, which is different. Celest has sacrifice I believe its called, every group has at least one rezz-type ability that can be used on themselves by a certain group within the org (lich, transmigration) or others (sacrifice, resurgem)

I just don't see why that is a reason to remove it.
Hardly any city skills are restricted by environment, while many commune skills are.
I thought that was one way of ensuring distinctness with broad, overall balance, rather than automatic balance by duplication of advantage.

Maybe it's me but where's the skill that allows the cities to almost instantanly travel to raiders in their villages?
So far I remember portraits, that you needed to touch.
And the cities have survived with that, so what's the problem with the communes being in the same situation with flow local area only? I mean, at least you can use a portrait and then flow to the person you're trying to attack. Citydwellers have to walk there, giving plenty of time for the other person to flee.

Most likely not.
I heard a story that richter wanted to make rifts from deepnight to all of the Astral Spheres, and the gods said no. I am pretty sure that they want to keep manses confinded to the portal system

The Moondancers aren't going to let any old Seren tramps through our Tower. It's a bother, anyway, since they need a Moondancer to get in at all.

Be realistic people, if you have to walk from Southern Serenwilde into the bowels of Northern Serenwilde to Moondance Tower to get into the Moondancer Guidhall (which only a Moondancer can do) to find a painting to touch, which has a delay, to get to a village... wtf wouldn't you just walk to the village? It'd be more reliable and take less time.

Well then the Serenguard Guildhall is very close to the Mother tree and anyone can enter...I remember accidently walking in there one day

We can still spore in, pretty much equals Hermit (not as useful for utility travel, better in combat).
Doesn't Catacombs put you right outside the village, meaning they can still keep you out if they try?

Spores can be used by anyone, thus if we put them in all of our villages they are going to end up being used to *gasp* RAID US EASYER, rather then have us get their quicker for raids.
