I can like not pray for 3 minutes and still have enough mana to pray and be fine. big deal.

Not everyone dies with full mana. happy.gif Also, the spirit thing is more of a defence against cities- the communes themselves don't really have a way to destroy corpses, unless you grab the corpse and run away from the fight to offer.

If Resurgem worked like that, it would be a -massive- upgrade.
Astraea2005-10-22 04:08:20
So Fae always disappear when you die, right? Well, since Night users are all dominate-the-fae, we should be able to absorb their little souls and make a temporary fae (kinda) body. Thing is, it would be REALLY temporary, like you have a minute or two to get back to the Master Ravenwood. If you waste too much time you have to pray and you can't summon your fae for a time. Like healing burnout or when you have a shattered ego..you know..diag: You have lost temporary contact with your loyal fae. This would be neat and make me feel special. Cause hey, fae body!

And that's really farfetched..

One more thing though! Fae should last post-death. I demand more loyalty from my fae! They should loiter around my rotting corpse while I pray. dry.gif

Why are all these ideas so complicated?

Just have a crow come down and guide you back home, like it did for Brandon Lee.

I think your idea is alot more powerful then the res gem Moondancers have. Also, I don't think crow users will get it, because stag users don't have anykind of res skills. Night users should get something similiar to what Moondancers have with bringing people back to life.

Just have a skill where you need a denizen corpse and, say, 10 power to ressurect someone. You perform a little ritual, placing the person's soul into the dead thing's body. After a bit of time the creature will shed its skin and the person will emerge, reincarnated. Sounds reasonable enough; you would have to have the person's soul standing at you, of course.

Hmm... Serenwilde. Free resurrection with a five member coven. Glomdoring- 10 power apiece as well as a corpse, apparently also with a coven to force the soul into that corpse, and the soul has to walk to them. I think it's possible to come up with something a bit more in line with our 'arch rival' than that. happy.gif

It's too similar to transmigration.

Then we want something similar to Long Night.
Murphy2005-10-23 01:22:50
narsrim long night isn't an issue until its able to be pulled off. Not to mention moon doesn't have any cauldron requirements for most of its skills. Skillsets aren't meant to be the same but damn, Glom needs some form of rezz skill (or maybe even some form of achaean phase, which would be nice too)
Corr2005-10-23 02:18:22
I think Crow has more to do with death and non-death than Night does, but thats just me. Crows are always seen at large grounds of dead people.
Unknown2005-10-23 03:17:53
Crow users have access to transmigration. Crow won't get a rezz skill for this reason.

Wouldn't that also apply to Stag? mellow.gif

Would you believe, not all druids take Hunting and Ecology?

I'm a Runist, and will remain one, because of the lack of others. OMG, I don't have transmigration!!!
