Raezon may have vast knowledge stored away, but he still can't think of a better name than Nightshimmer. And his fashion sense? Ugh!
Tsakar2005-10-25 11:00:41
Don't need to horrify the poor people telling them about the lords fashion sense sis

Personally, Raezon is a mad scientist, Lacostian is one of those monks hidden in monastery libraries making sure knowledge isn't misused... And Elcy is a hippie of the open source movement wink.gif

Just in my opinion smile.gif

Actually, Nightshimmer is a reference to the portrait of the same name done by that one artist that has her stuff seperated into colors. Beautiful it is. Yes, I'll change the name eventually. Val'dian or something.

Lacostian, as far as my character views him IC, is a god of several different things. Balance, Knowledge, Wisdom, Magic, the Keeper of the Akashic records. Unfortunately, to segregate and to actually "name" the aspects he rules over is like taking Isune and saying she is "this and this and this and this". Theoretically, it can't be done. People have diverse natures within natures; several psyches and personality traits intervowen and intersecting with one another. Lacostian teaches several things, yes, but is he truly the residing god over those aspects? Maybe or maybe not.

Elcyrion, from what Suhnaye has told me IC, has a belief that knowledge should be available to all beings, despite nationality, race, gender, pro-nature or pro-civilization, et cetera. But is he truly god of that given belief? Pro-Knowledge for all? Lusternia is built to personify traits in all gods and goddesses, unlike most RPGs that have Goddess of Love, God of Hate, God of Magic, God of Light, God of Evil/Good, and so on and so forth. For me, personally, it makes it that much more interesting.

A few IC days ago, someone stepped up to Elcyrion and asked his interpretation of Lacostian as the god of knowledge and Elcyrion as the god of wisdom was accurate. Elcyrion answered that this was too narrow a definition, that gods do not have things that they can claim and furthermore he refused to be put into a box and defined within certain standards. This IC reply aside, I personally suppose that if you have to qualify it in one sentence, that’s about as close as you will get.

So if Lacostian is Moe does that mean he gets to push around the other two?
