Something I randomly thought of. How closely do brooms mimic mounts? Can you vault them? It would make sense. Most of the other skills don't though. Is it completely seperate, or some weird mishmash?

Its already too much to handle from a faeling - end of story. That doesn't change if riding changes because a faeling can vault back onto the mount for like 1 second off balance - big deal.

That is true. I wonder why no one is using this strategy yet.
I bet someone will be if they downgrade mugwump.

You can vault them. That's about it.

That's the problem: you cannot downgrade creativity and as long as people have it, they'll find unique and powerful combinations of abilities.

But.. riding has trotting! Love the trotting! Who needs winged sandals like that! Plus for all the classes that don't have sprint, gallop is niiiice.

Stupid shadow and her free legendary mount.

How the does a turtle gallop?

I have used that, but trampling damage is minor afflictions with mending cures are not much of a hindrance unless it is the slickness-slitthroat combination. It is a simple matter to have all of your limbs cured and standing before even a faeling recovers from trampling you. (This is even in a demesne).

Right, but let's assume the worst possible scenario:
Aquamancer Faeling with Runes:
Everytime the the demesne hits with stun, prone, or paralyse (infused), you can automatically tumble. That's most of the time if they are spread out.

Who are you going to kill with that combo? The only people who will die to something like that are novices and players with very low health (practically novice level health). You can trample all you want, but in the end you will have to stop trampling and start using some other attacks to actually kill any person with a modicum of skill and health. The best that combo can be is annoying, and even then the person could still heal the legs and walk out before you trample again.
