Life Blessing is a 10% addition based on your CURRENT MAX HEALTH. If your current max health is 2000 and you get a life blessing, it will increase to 2200 total max health.

So if you get the blessing when surged, you get more health than if you receive the blessing unsurged?

If you have 2000 max health and get a life blessing, your new max health will be 2200
If you have 4000 max health (surged) and get a life blessing, you max health (surged) will be 4400.
In you unsurge, your max health returns to 2000 so the blessing will add on 200 more health (10%) for a total of 2200.
=====================================================
It doesn't matter what your max health when you get the blessing if the max health changes. The blessing, as I said earlier, will always modify CURRENT MAX HEALTH.

How about you check what I posted then? It doesn't modify current max health, because what it gave was most definitely not +10% of that max. 350ish is not 550ish. Period.

What is your max health unsurged?
Xenthos2005-10-29 01:39:56
3500ish, which explains the +350... but it doesn't explain why it gives +350ish *surged*, if it truly does go off of maxhealth. Surge does increase max health.

Hmm. My only guess is that surge isn't coded to be recognized as a modification to max health even though it increases it.

...wait so if I get a life blessing and then invoke yellow I will have LESS health then if I invoke yellow and then get a life blessing?

I believe that what happens is that, at any time during the time you are effected by the Life Karma Blessing, you will gain a 10% increase in your maximum health. If you have 1000 health, and get it, you end up with 1100. If you boost that up to 2000, it will go up to 2200. If you then loose it down to 1000 again, it will go to 1100. When the blessing wears off, you will go back to 1000.

Thanks for the Obvious Nortimus
Xenthos here's how it works
Life blessing is based off of the statistic constitution.
Surge and Tosha are defs and dont go into your stats.
Okie? there it's all cleared up now

only con increasing stuff works that way. surge and tosha dont... oh and the catacombs blessing
Ekard2005-10-29 08:38:36
Munsia is right here.
It dosent metter if you first get con food+yellow+weathering and then life blessing or life blessing first and then other skills that boost your const.
Health added by life blessing will be changing with your constitution change.
