Welcome to The Taint Wars 3
Any role or variation thereof found in POSSIBLE ROLES may or may not be in this game. There may also be secret twists you don’t know about until they happen.
The RULES
1. No quoting the mod. This means, no copying and pasting your PMs from me into your posts.
2. There will be no discussion outside of this thread, except at night, and only those whose roles say they can discuss at night can and only with those their role states they can talk with.
3. There will be a lynch when there is a majority vote. Once there is a majority vote, STOP TALKING. There is to be no discussion about the game in the thread in twilight or at night. (I will keep up to date with votecounts and how many it takes to lynch will be posted in the votecounts).
4. Once you are dead, you are dead. STOP TALKING. You may post once to give a ghostly cheer to your team after your role is revealed, but nothing else.
5. You may vote NO LYNCH if you want to move on to the next day without a lynch.
6. All votes and unvotes must be bolded or they will not count. Also, you must unvote before voting someone else or your vote will not change. Format should be in the form of vote: Joe and unvote: Joe
7. Please do not edit your posts. I consider it cheating and it does affect gameplay. If you make a mistake, too bad. I can’t necessarily catch you at this, but please try to be a good sport about it.
8. I will place a deadline if there is too much inactivity during the day. If a deadline is hit, the person with the most votes (at least ½ of a majority) will be lynched, otherwise it will be a no lynch. If two people have the same number of votes and ½ a majority, the first to have reached the number of votes will be lynched.
9. If you break my rules, I will modkill you. I don’t care what your role is.
10. The mod is always right, except when I’m wrong.
11. You must post at least once every 36 hours during the day portions of the game.
12. Have fun!

“You have been tried, ur’Guard, and found guilty of crimes against the Light! I hereby sentence you to death!â€
Cheers erupt from the Citizens of Celest as the Orclach struggles vainly to untie the noose before falling through the trapdoor below, hanging still as her neck snaps loudly against the weight of her body.
“Justice has been done here today,†the Inquisitor’s voice rings out over the din as his quarry swings in the breeze behind him, a smirk of satisfaction almost splitting his face in two. “One more of the Tainted rebels has paid for her crimes. Fear not, though, Citizens! For the Ruling Council shall not cease until this threat against our holy way of life has been utterly destroyed!â€
The masses erupt in jubilation once more, their fervour so great that none among them notice as a hooded figure slips into the shadows, moving swiftly out the city gates to join a small band of mounted soldiers hidden just beyond a rise in the hills.
* * *
Unrolling the parchment delivered to his door only moments earlier, the General of the ur’Guard reads quickly the precise script etched onto the page. Sighing heavily and laying the message down, he reaches for a single glass and a bottle of whiskey, swallowing down a full measure without pause.
“What is it dear,†concern in her eye the General’s wife comes to stand at his side, taking back the alcohol and storing it away again.
With eyes downcast he speaks, “It’s time, beloved. The ur’Guard go to war.â€
(It is Night 1. Roles have been sent. PM Ibby to confirm and make your night choices if you have any that need making. Be sure to read the rules in the first post. Apologies for the delay)

Waiting on one confirmation before we can go to day. How long are you all willing to wait before I find a replacement?
Revan2005-11-10 04:26:57
Replace now. I grow impatient!
Tsuki2005-11-10 04:58:49
I don't mind waiting a bit longer if it's someone who you think will indeed confirm and be active and such.
Unknown2005-11-10 04:59:53
it's been what, night for 51 hours real time(7th at 9pm- 9th at midnight)? I say replace the inactive person. If they are this inactive, they'll slow down the game as well.
Unknown2005-11-10 05:25:05
I'll wait 12-15 hours or so, then I'll replace.
Xenthos2005-11-10 05:35:42
Now that I've been pointed at the right thread and saved from voting in the other... I say just go ahead and replace.
Unknown2005-11-10 06:15:17
Ibby has spoke, hush! .
It is still Night, though, so just be patient please. We will give the person around 12 hours.
As Kath from 'Kath and Kim' would say 'A little bit of shoosh ploise'.

Story later.
Also, Iridiel replaces requiem dot exe effective immediately.

Sipping her freshly brewed tea, Shelma leant back in her rocking chair, soaking in the evening view laid out before her; rolling hills, vineyards, bushes and brambles with scatterings of wild herbs growing wherever a patch of earth would allow – all the things that she needed right at her fingertips.
“So perfect,†she thought, “if only they could see the beauty in all of creation.†With a sigh she closed her eyes, content for the moment to simply enjoy what could be enjoyed.
“Stupid woman, fighting for the heathens, your touch would have been of great use to us!â€
Startled, Shelma dropped the tea and shot up from her chair, a small sickle flicking around her surprisingly deft fingers. “Show yourself! Coward, come forth!†Her heart trying to beat its way out of her chest, Shelma watched and waited for the owner of the mysterious voice to step forward. Moments passed as she stalked back and forth, her skirts hitched high in case she would need to move swiftly, but still no one appeared.
“You are a stupid old woman Shelma,†she mused, “you’re jumping at ghosts.†Sitting once more the old apothecary worked worn fingers to her temples, rubbing gently as if kneading away unwanted thoughts.
Laughter was all the Holy Mother heard, her only warning as a white enamelled blade was dragged across her jugular, spilling her life swiftly over the hard wood deck.
Using Shelma’s own hair to clean his blade, her assassin stepped casually past her and strolled through the very fields which the Holy Mother so loved, a satisfied smile on his face. “A job well done,†he thought.
Tsuki, Holy Mother Shelma, Apothecary, has made a mess all over the porch. How inconsiderate, bleeding that much. (Pro-Taint/Innocent)

Tsuki2005-11-10 12:19:32
Meanies! Well, I suppose I'm flattered I worried you enough you didn't want me around.
And ... serves you right.
Unknown2005-11-10 12:19:33
I got impatient too.
Suhnaye2005-11-10 12:33:03
Apothecary? Probably somethin like a doctor I'll bet... Protector...
As to the votes... I'll Vote Kiarlea for no better reason than to get things moving. Also, a note to everyone, its been said dozens of times, No Lynch is a bad thing for the innocents at this point, so if your not sure who to vote for, wait for more talk, or jump on a bandwagon. Also, if it is just a bandwagon, make sure to not let it get too close to a lynch before they get a chance to claim... We don't want anyone lynched without a chance to claim.
Be happy to hear from a scryer who got lucky last night, but its kinda doubtfull at this point.
EDIT: For spelling, sorry Ibby

I'll randomy vote: Cywn because she was a good player on the other game and I'm scared of her.
Remember, no lynching without roleclaiming, or we'll point fingers at the person who forced the lynch...

I'm not going to vote anyone, nor bandwagon - I'll vote for someone if necessary, however I refuse to vote no lynch.
So I'm simply withholding accusations on the ground of, well.. Not wanting to be a jack ass.

Narsrim2005-11-10 14:15:26
Hmm. I'm going to FoS YoLF
While it does sound logical to take the route suggested, it is often a cop out. You have suggested that you will vote "if necessary" *and* you are not going to vote no lynch.
It sounds like a cheap tactic to buy time to me without drawing any attention to yourself. It would be like if we were all discussing the day in the dinning room, you'd be in the kitchen ready to burst out (with a plate of cookies) with a final vote when it is needed, but until then, you are keeping a low profile. Sounds or rather smells fishy!

Well this is interesting. It seems that the scum are the non-tainted. I'm not quite sure who to vote for at this point in time, but at the moment, I'm going to FoS Suhnaye. I understand no lynching is a bad idea, but I still hold to the fact that voting without getting a few reactions first via a FoS is a bad idea.
Iridiel2005-11-10 17:15:39
Is there any diference at this stage between FoS and vote? After all, we've warned you all, don't dare lynch without allowing the person to defend themselves or we'll be as good as the untainted of other games
Revan2005-11-10 17:19:06
Tainted != evil, Iridiel
