Ahh, another Day 1. How...ugly.

Firstly, I'd like to state two ideas that may save us this game.

1. Never EVER EVER try to outguess the moderator. Last game the goodies assumed there were no 'townie' roles and we got Timmie (I STILL am angry over that). Also, at one point people assumed there was no mafia while I nearly went insane looking for a second mafia family that didn't exist.

In short, we have NO IDEA how this game is supposed to go. The opening story combined with the Taint/Innocent madness and sprinkled with the fact that these roles are getting quite loony (Apothecary!?) means we don't even know who we're after, who the good guys are or what dangers await us.

So random votes are ok, but our goal for today should be to somehow use what we know about ourselves to figure out what the this game is about, WITHOUT telling the world (and our enemies) who we are. That means lots of talk and few rolecalls.

As for the idea of No Lynch: I've learned that it's not ALWAYS bad. If there's a cult we NEED to vote till they're dead. Normal mafia it depends on the numbers: I can go into detail, but I'm sure people already want me to cut this post short so I'll leave it at this for now: Any good guesses as to how many Mafia-scum we have?

Second to Last bit: if non-mafia = innocent and taint =! mafia then what the does 'pro-taint' mean. Of course that's assuming the first part is correct.

Last bit: IF THERE'S ANOTHER TIMMIE IN THIS GAME I'M KILLING THE MODERATOR! (ok, not true, but I feel better now)

I'm just going to make this clear right now. The Tainted are the Town. You get nothing more. If you don't know what Town means by now, I'm going to bring out the whips.. or .. post restrictions!

Daganev, fingers of suspicion are usually pointed along with reasoning for why you have that suspicion. I'd really like to see some, if you could.

Not sure if your refering to the name, or the vanilla townie role... If its the role, you shouldn't discount it. Ibby is evil that way after all...



I agree it'd probably be good to have lots of talk and as few role claims as possible on day one... Problem with FoS's is that people don't usually take them as seriously as votes, and so when they see four people FoSing them, they don't see it as reason enough to claim, or explain themselves... Whereas, votes tend to scare up the conversation a bit... At least thats what I've noticed in the past.

I hope your a townie this time around Revan, you played pretty well as a townie last game, though you did get lynched... As for FoSing me... Meh, dunno what you expect to get from that, I'm already talking... I always talk...

YoLF... Yeah, I'm going to FoS you along with Narsrim... That post of yours was amazingly scummy sounding, like your just going to wait till there are enough votes on someone to lynch em quick...

Hmm, its the same reasoning I used in the first round of the other games.

I don't want to say too much for fear of giving things away, but it has to do with post times.

edit: Meh that sounded too suspcious.. I might as well say. I like to look up people and see what time of days they were posting on other threads, and then look at the time of day that Night was concluded.

Umm... So... Your FoSing Kiarlea on pretty much the same grounds I'm currently voting for her... None? It doesn't especially matter when night ended and when she was on last... I mean, we already know Ibby decided to hurry up at replace requium, and go to day... So... I don't see any evidence there. I'm just waiting for someone else to jump out at me as scummy to vote for. Right now YoLF is the oddest lookin, but I'm gunna wait till he posts again.

Wow, Dag... your posting seems ill contrived. You FoS, then vote, then edit... you seem highly suspicious to me. In fact your whole demeanor seems quite shifty. Since it's the first day, I'll be kind and FoS Daganev to see how he can explain himself. I dislike wanton voting, but if Daganev gives me another reason to suspect him, then I'll be switching my FoS to a vote
